| 9 | 'Where would you like us to make the preparations?' they asked. | | οἱ δὲ εἶπαν αὐτῷ, Ποῦ θέλεις ἑτοιμάσωμεν; |

| 10 | He replied, 'As soon as you set foot in the city a man will meet you carrying a jar of water. Follow him into the house that he enters | | ὁ δὲ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς, Ἰδοὺ εἰσελθόντων ὑμῶν εἰς τὴν πόλιν συναντήσει ὑμῖν ἄνθρωπος κεράμιον ὑδατος βαστάζων· ἀκολουθήσατε αὐτῷ εἰς τὴν οἰκίαν εἰς ἣν εἰσπορεύεται. |

| 11 | and give this message to the householder: "The Master says, 'Where is the room in which I may eat the Passover with my disciples?'" | | καὶ ἐρεῖτε τῷ οἰκοδεσπότῃ τῆς οἰκίας, Λέγει σοι ὁ διδάσκαλος, Ποῦ ἐστιν τὸ κατάλυμα ὁπου τὸ πάσχα μετὰ τῶν μαθητῶν μου φάγὼ; |

| 12 | He will show you a large room upstairs all set out: make the preparations there.' | | κἀκεῖνος ὑμῖν δείξει ἀνάγαιον μέγα ἐστρωμένον· ἐκεῖ ἑτοιμάσατε. |

| 13 | They went and found everything as he had said. So they prepared for Passover.
| | ἀπελθόντες δὲ εὗρον καθὼς εἰρήκει αὐτοῖς, καὶ ἡτοίμασαν τὸ πάσχα. |
