41He said to them, 'How can they say that the Messiah is son of David?The Question about David's Son Lk.20.41-44 (Jerusalem) | Mt.22.41-46 | Mk.12.35-37Εἶπεν δὲ πρὸς αὐτούς, Πῶς λέγουσιν τὸν Χριστὸν εἶναι Δαυὶδ υἱόν;
42For David himself says in the Book of Psalms: "The Lord said to my Lord, 'Sit at my right hand- The Lord said to my Lord Lk.20.42-44 | Ps.110.1αὐτὸς γὰρ Δαυὶδ λέγει ἐν βίβλῳ ψαλμῶν,

Εἶπεν κύριος τῷ κυρίῳ μου,
Κάθου ἐκ δεξιῶν μου

43until I make your enemies your footstool.' " ἕως ἂν θῶ τοὺς ἐχθρούς σου ὑποπόδιον τῶν ποδῶν σου.
44Thus David calls him "Lord"; how then can he be David's son?'
 Δαυὶδ οὖν κύριον αὐτὸν καλεῖ, καὶ πῶς αὐτοῦ υἱός ἐστιν;
