13 New English Bible (New Testament) Passage New Testament in Greek (UBS.Ed.26)

13 1AT THAT VERY TIME there were some people present who told him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices.
2He answered them: 'Do you imagine that, because these Galileans suffered this fate, they must have been greater sinners than anyone else in Galilee? καὶ ἀποκριθεὶς εἶπεν αὐτοῖς, Δοκεῖτε ὅτι οἱ Γαλιλαῖοι οὗτοι ἀμαρτωλοὶ παρὰ πάντας τοὺς Γαλιλαίους ἐγένοντο, ὅτι ταῦτα πεπόνθασιν;
3I tell you they were not; but unless you repent, you will all of you come to the same end.
4Or the eighteen people who were killed when the tower fell on them at Siloam—do you imagine they were more guilty than all the other people living in Jerusalem? ἢ ἐκεῖνοι οἱ δεκαοκτὼ ἐφ' οὓς ἐπεσεν ὁ πύργος ἐν τῷ Σιλωὰμ καὶ ἀπέκτεινεν αὐτούς, δοκεῖτε ὅτι αὐτοὶ ὀφειλέται ἐγένοντο παρὰ πάντας τοὺς ἀνθρώπους τοὺς κατοικοῦντας Ἰερουσαλήμ;
5I tell you they were not; but unless you repent, you will all of you come to the same end.'
