24'When an unclean spirit comes out of a man it wanders over the deserts seeking a resting-place; and if it finds none, it says, "I will go back to the home I left."The Return of the Unclean Spirit Lk.11.24-26 (Judaea) | Mt.12.43-45Ὅταν τὸ ἀκάθαρτον Πνεῦμα ἐξέλθῃ ἀπὸ τοῦ ἀνθρώπου, διέρχεται δῖ ἀνύδρων τόπων ζητοῦν ἀνάπαυσιν, καὶ μὴ εὑρίσκον, τότε λέγει, Ὑποστρέψω εἰς τὸν οἶκόν μου ὁθεν ἐξῆλθ ον·
25So it returns and finds the house Some witnesses insert: unoccupied. swept clean, and tidy. καὶ ἐλθὸν εὑρίσκει σεσαρωμένον καὶ κεκοσμημένον.
26Off it goes and collects seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they all come in and settle down; and in the end the man's plight is worse than before.'
 τότε πορεύεται καὶ παραλαμβάνει ἑτερα πνεύματα πονηρότερα ἑαυτοῦ ἑπτά, καὶ εἰσελθόντα κατοικεῖ ἐκεῖ, καὶ γίνεται τὰ ἐσχατα τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ἐκείνου χείρονα τῶν πρώτων.
