| 28 | I tell you, there is not a mother's son greater than John, and yet the least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.' | λέγω ὑμῖν, μείζων ἐν γεννητοῖς γυναικῶν Ἰωάννου οὐδείς ἐστιν· ὁ δὲ μικρότερος ἐν τῇ βασιλείᾳ τοῦ θεοῦ μείζων αὐτοῦ ἐστιν. | |

| 33 | For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine, and you say, "He is possessed." | ἐλήλυθεν γὰρ Ἰωάννης ὁ Βαπτιστὴς μὴ ἐσθίων ἀρτον μήτε πίνων οἶνον, καὶ λέγετε, Δαιμόνιον ἐχει· | |
