| 56 | Wherever he went, to farmsteads, villages, or towns, they laid out the sick in the marketplaces and begged him to let them simply touch the edge of his cloak; and all who touched him were cured.
| | καὶ ὁπου ἂν εἰσεπορεύετο εἰς κώμας ἢ εἰς πόλεις ἢ εἰς ἀγροὺς ἐν ταῖς ἀγοραῖς ἐτίθεσαν τοὺς ἀσθενοῦντας, καὶ παρεκάλουν αὐτὸν ἵνα κἂν τοῦ κρασπέδου τοῦ ἱματίου αὐτ οῦ ἀψωνται· καὶ ὁσοι ἂν ἥψαντο αὐτοῦ ἐσῴζοντο. |
