11Jesus was now brought before the Governor; and as he stood there the Governor asked him, 'Are you the king of the Jews?' 'The words are yours' Or: It is as you say., said Jesus;Jesus Questioned by Pilate Mt.27.11-14 (Jerusalem) | Mk.15.2-5 | Lk.23.3-5 | Jn.18.33-38Ὁ δὲ Ἰησοῦς ἐστάθη ἐμπροσθεν τοῦ ἡγεμόνος· καὶ ἐπηρώτησεν αὐτὸν ὁ ἡγεμὼν λέγων, Σὺ εἶ ὁ βασιλεὺς τῶν Ἰουδαίων; ὁ δὲ Ἰησοῦς ἐφη, Σὺ λέγεις.
12and to the charges laid against him by the chief priests and elders he made no reply. καὶ ἐν τῷ κατηγορεῖσθαι αὐτὸν ὑπὸ τῶν ἀρχιερέων καὶ πρεσβυτέρων οὐδὲν ἀπεκρίνατο.
13Then Pilate said to him, 'Do you not hear all this evidence that is brought against you?'; τότε λέγει αὐτῷ ὁ Πιλᾶτος, Οὐκ ἀκούεις πόσα σου καταμαρτυροῦσιν;
14but he still refused to answer one word, to the Governor's great astonishment.
 καὶ οὐκ ἀπεκρίθη αὐτῷ πρὸς οὐδὲ ἓν ῥῆμα, ὡστε θαυμάζειν τὸν ἡγεμόνα λίαν.
