11Now Jesus stood before the governor; and the governor asked him, "Are you the King of the Jews?" Jesus said, "You have said so." Jesus Questioned by Pilate Mt.27.11-14 (Jerusalem) | Mk.15.2-5 | Lk.23.3-5 | Jn.18.33-38Ὁ δὲ Ἰησοῦς ἐστάθη ἐμπροσθεν τοῦ ἡγεμόνος· καὶ ἐπηρώτησεν αὐτὸν ὁ ἡγεμὼν λέγων, Σὺ εἶ ὁ βασιλεὺς τῶν Ἰουδαίων; ὁ δὲ Ἰησοῦς ἐφη, Σὺ λέγεις.
12But when he was accused by the chief priests and elders, he made no answer. καὶ ἐν τῷ κατηγορεῖσθαι αὐτὸν ὑπὸ τῶν ἀρχιερέων καὶ πρεσβυτέρων οὐδὲν ἀπεκρίνατο.
13Then Pilate said to him, "Do you not hear how many things they testify against you?"  τότε λέγει αὐτῷ ὁ Πιλᾶτος, Οὐκ ἀκούεις πόσα σου καταμαρτυροῦσιν;
14But he gave him no answer, not even to a single charge; so that the governor wondered greatly.  καὶ οὐκ ἀπεκρίθη αὐτῷ πρὸς οὐδὲ ἓν ῥῆμα, ὡστε θαυμάζειν τὸν ἡγεμόνα λίαν.
