27 1	WHEN MORNING CAME, the chief priests and the elders of the nation met in conference to plan the death of Jesus.	Jesus Brought before Pilate Mt.27.1-2 (Jerusalem) \| Mk.15.1 \| Lk.23.1-2 \| Jn.18.28-32	Πρωΐας δὲ γενομένης συμβούλιον ἐλαβον πάντες οἱ ἀρχιερεῖς καὶ οἱ πρεσβύτεροι τοῦ λαοῦ κατὰ τοῦ Ἰησοῦ ὡστε θανατῶσαι αὐτόν·
2	They then put him in chains and led him away, to hand him over to Pilate, the Roman Governor.		καὶ δήσαντες αὐτὸν ἀπήγαγον καὶ παρέδωκαν Πιλάτῳ τῷ ἡγεμόνι.
