14THEN ONE OF THE TWELVE, the man called Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priestsJudas' Agreement to Betray Jesus Mt.26.14-16 (Jerusalem) | Mk.14.10-11 | Lk.22.3-6Τότε πορευθεὶς εἷς τῶν δώδεκα, ὁ λεγόμενος Ἰούδας Ἰσκαριώτης, πρὸς τοὺς ἀρχιερεῖς
15and said, 'What will you give me to betray him to you?' They weighed him out Or: agreed to pay him ... thirty silver pieces.- they paid him thirty pieces of silver. Mt.26.15 | Zch.11.12εἶπεν, Τί θέλετέ μοι δοῦναι κἀγὼ ὑμῖν παραδώσω αὐτόν; οἱ δὲ ἔστησαν αὐτῷ τριάκοντα ἀργύρια.
16From that moment he began to look for an opportunity to betray him. καὶ ἀπὸ τότε ἐζήτει εὐκαιρίαν ἵνα αὐτὸν παραδῷ.
