32'Learn a lesson from the fig-tree. When its tender shoots appear and are breaking into leaf, you know that summer is near. The Lesson of the Fig Tree Mt.24.32-35 (Olivet) | Mk.13.28-31 | Lk.21.29-33Ἀπὸ δὲ τῆς συκῆς μάθετε τὴν παραβολήν· ὁταν ἠδη ὁ κλάδος αὐτῆς γένηται ἀπαλὸς καὶ τὰ φύλλα ἐκφύῃ, γινώσκετε ὅτι ἐγγὺς τὸ θέρος·
33In the same way, when you see all these things, you may know that the end is near, Or: that he is near. at the very door.
34I tell you this: the present generation will live to see it all.
35Heaven and earth will pass away; my words will never pass away.
