18 New English Bible (New Testament) Passage New Testament in Greek (UBS.Ed.26)

15'If your brother commits a sin, Some witnesses insert: against you. go and take the matter up with him, strictly between yourselves, and if he listens to you, you have won your brother over.A Brother who Sins Mt.18.15-20 (Capernaum) | Lk.17.3Ἐὰν δὲ ἀμαρτήσῃ εἰς σὲ ὁ ἀδελφός σου, ὑπαγε ἐλεγξον αὐτὸν μεταξὺ σοῦ καὶ αὐτοῦ μόνου.
16If he will not listen, take one or two others with you, so that all facts may be duly established on the evidence of two or three witnesses.- confirmed by the evidence of two or three witnesses Mt.18.16 | Dt.19.15ἐὰν δὲ μὴ ἀκούσῃ, παράλαβε μετὰ σοῦ ἐτι ἑνα ἢ δύο, ἵνα ἐπὶ στόματος δύο μαρτύρων ἢ τριῶν σταθῇ πᾶν ῥῆμα·
17If he refuses to listen to them, report the matter to the congregation; and if he will not listen even to the congregation, you must then treat him as you would a pagan or a tax-gatherer.
18'I tell you this: whatever you forbid on earth shall be forbidden in heaven, and whatever you allow on earth shall be allowed in heaven.
19'Again I tell you this: if two of you agree on earth about any request you have to make, that request will be granted by my heavenly Father.
20For where two or three have met together in my name, I am there among them.'
