| 25 | and the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat upon that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. | | καὶ κατέβη ἡ βροχὴ καὶ ἦλθον οἱ ποταμοὶ καὶ ἐπνευσαν οἱ ἀνεμοι καὶ προσέπεσαν τῇ οἰκίᾳ ἐκείνῃ, καὶ οὐκ ἐπεσεν, τεθεμελίωτο γὰρ ἐπὶ τὴν πέτραν. |

| 28 | And when Jesus finished these sayings, the crowds were astonished at his teaching, | | Καὶ ἐγένετο ὅτε ἐτέλεσεν ὁ Ἰησοῦς τοὺς λόγους τούτους ἐξεπλήσσοντο οἱ ὀχλοι ἐπὶ τῇ διδαχῇ αὐτοῦ· |
