Passage |
New Testament in Greek (UBS.Ed.26) |
| 31 | 'They were told, "A man who divorces his wife must give her a note of dismissal." | Teaching about Divorce Mt.5.31-32 (Galilee) | Mt.19.9 | Mk.10.11-11.12 | Lk.16.18 | Ἐρρέθη δέ, Ὅς ἂν ἀπολύσῃ τὴν γυναῖκα αὐτοῦ, δότω αὐτῇ ἀποστάσιον. |
| 32 | But what I tell you is this: If a man divorces his wife for any cause other than unchastity he involves her in adultery; and anyone who marries a woman so divorced commits adultery.
