| 24 | His fame reached the whole of Syria; and sufferers from every kind of illness, racked with pain, possessed by devils, epileptic, or paralysed, were all brought to him, and he cured them. | | καὶ ἀπῆλθεν ἡ ἀκοὴ αὐτοῦ εἰς ὁλην τὴν Συρίαν· καὶ προσήνεγκαν αὐτῷ πάντας τοὺς κακῶς ἐχοντας ποικίλαις νόσοις καὶ βασάνοις συνεχομένους καὶ δαιμονιζομένους καὶ σεληνιαζομένους καὶ παραλυτικούς, καὶ ἐθεράπευσεν αὐτοίς. |

| 25 | Great crowds also followed him, from Galilee and the Ten Towns Greek: Decapolis, from Jerusalem and Judaea, and from Transjordan.
| | καὶ ἠκολούθησαν αὐτῷ ὀχλοι πολλοὶ ἀπὸ τῆς Γαλιλαίας καὶ Δεκαπόλεως καὶ Ἱεροσολύμων καὶ Ἰουδαίας καὶ πέραν τοῦ Ἰορδάνου.
