14that what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah might be fulfilled:  ἵνα πληρωθῇ τὸ ῥηθὲν διὰ Ἠσαΐου τοῦ προφήτου λέγοντος,
15"The land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali,
toward the sea, across the Jordan,
Galilee of the Gentiles -
- The land of Zeb'ulun. Mt.4.15-16 | Is.9.1-2 | Is.42.7Γῆ ζαβουλὼν καὶ γῆ Νεφθαλίμ,

16the people who sat in darkness
have seen a great light,
and for those who sat
in the region and shadow of death
light has dawned."
17From that time Jesus began to preach, saying, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."
18As he walked by the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon who is called Peter and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen. The Calling of Four Fishermen Mt.4.18-22 (Capernaum) | Mk.1.16-20 | Lk.5.1-11περιπατῶν δὲ παρὰ τὴν θάλασσαν τῆς Γαλιλαίας εἶδεν δύο ἀδελφούς, Σίμωνα τὸν λεγόμενον Πέτρον καὶ Ἀνδρέαν τὸν ἀδελφὸν αὐτοῦ, βάλλοντας ἀμφίβληστρον εἰς τὴν θάλασσαν· ἦσαν γ ὰρ ἀλιεῖς.
19And he said to them, "Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men."
20Immediately they left their nets and followed him.
21And going on from there he saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee and John his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets, and he called them.
22Immediately they left the boat and their father, and followed him.
