12When he heard that John had been arrested, Jesus withdrew to Galilee;The Beginning of the Galilean Ministry Mt.4.12-17 (Machaerus-Capernaum) | Mk.1.14-15 | Lk.4.14-15ἀκούσας δὲ ὅτι Ἰωάννης παρεδόθη ἀνεχώρησεν εἰς τὴν Γαλιλαίαν.
13and leaving Nazareth he went and settled at Capernaum on the Sea of Galilee, in the district of Zebulun and Naphtali. καὶ καταλιπὼν τὴν Ναζαρὰ ἐλθὼν κατῴκησεν εἰς Καφαρναοὺμ τὴν παραθαλασσίαν ἐν ὁρίοις Ζαβουλὼν καὶ Νεφθαλίμ·
14This was in fulfilment of the passage in the prophet Isaiah which tells of ἵνα πληρωθῇ τὸ ῥηθὲν διὰ Ἠσαΐου τοῦ προφήτου λέγοντος,
15'the land of Zebulun, the land of Naphrali, the road by the sea, the land beyond Jordan, heathen Galilee', and says:- The land of Zeb'ulun. Mt.4.15-16 | Is.9.1-2 | Is.42.7Γῆ ζαβουλὼν καὶ γῆ Νεφθαλίμ,
ὁδὸν θαλάσσης, πέραν τοῦ Ἰορδάνου,
Γαλιλαία τῶν ἐθνῶν,

16'The people that lived in darkness saw a great light;
Light dawned on the dwellers in the land of death's dark shadow.'
 ὁ λαὸς ὁ καθήμενος ἐν σκότει
φῶς εἶδεν μέγα,
καὶ τοῖς καθημένοις ἐν χώρᾳ καὶ σκιᾷ θανάτου
φῶς ἀνέτειλεν αὐτοῖς.
17From that day Jesus began to proclaim the message: 'Repent; for the kingdom of Heaven is upon you.'
 Ἀπὸ τότε ἠρξατο ὁ Ἰησοῦς κηρύσσειν καὶ λέγειν, Μετανοεῖτε, Ἤγγικεν γὰρ ἡ βασιλεία τῶν οὐρανῶν.
