| 25 1 | The word of Yahweh came to me: | Prophecy against Ammon. Eze.25.1-7 | וַיְהִי דְבַר־יְהוָה אֵלַי לֵאמֹר׃ |

| 2 | "Son of man, set your face toward the Ammonites, and prophesy against them. | | בֶּן־אָדָם שִׂים פָּנֶיךָ אֶל־בְּנֵי עַמֹּון וְהִנָּבֵא עֲלֵיהֶם׃ |
|
| 3 | Say to the Ammonites, Hear the word of Yahweh GOD: Thus says Yahweh GOD, Because you said, 'Aha!' over my sanctuary when it was profaned, and over the land of Israel when it was made desolate, and over the house of Judah when it went into exile; | | וְאָמַרְתָּ לִבְנֵי עַמֹּון שִׁמְעוּ דְּבַר־אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה כֹּה־אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה יַעַן אָמְרֵךְ הֶאָח אֶל־מִקְדָּשִׁי כִי־נִחָל וְאֶל־אַדְמַת יִשְׂרָאֵל כִּי נָשַׁמָּה וְאֶל־בֵּית יְהוּדָה כִּי הָלְכוּ בַּגֹּולָה׃ |

| 4 | therefore I am handing you over to the people of the East for a possession, and they shall set their encampments among you and make their dwellings in your midst; they shall eat your fruit, and they shall drink your milk. | | לָכֵן הִנְנִי נֹתְנָךְ לִבְנֵי־קֶדֶם לְמֹורָשָׁה וְיִשְּׁבוּ טִירֹותֵיהֶם בָּךְ וְנָתְנוּ בָךְ מִשְׁכְּנֵיהֶם הֵמָּה יֹאכְלוּ פִרְיֵךְ וְהֵמָּה יִשְׁתּוּ חֲלָבֵךְ׃ |

| 5 | I will make Rabbah a pasture for camels and the cities of the Ammonites a fold for flocks. Then you will know that I am Yahweh. | | וְנָתַתִּי אֶת־רַבָּה לִנְוֵה גְמַלִּים וְאֶת־בְּנֵי עַמֹּון לְמִרְבַּץ־צֹאן וִידַעְתֶּם כִּי־אֲנִי יְהוָה׃ ס |

| 6 | For thus says Yahweh GOD: Because you have clapped your hands and stamped your feet and rejoiced with all the malice within you against the land of Israel, | | כִּי כֹה אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה יַעַן מַחְאֲךָ יָד וְרַקְעֲךָ בְּרָגֶל וַתִּשְׂמַח בְּכָל־שָׁאטְךָ בְּנֶפֶשׁ אֶל־אַדְמַת יִשְׂרָאֵל׃ |

| 7 | therefore, behold, I have stretched out my hand against you, and will hand you over as spoil to the nations; and I will cut you off from the peoples and will make you perish out of the countries; I will destroy you. Then you will know that I am Yahweh. | | לָכֵן הִנְנִי נָטִיתִי אֶת־יָדִי עָלֶיךָ וּנְתַתִּיךָ־כ= לְבַג ק= לְבַז לַגֹּויִם וְהִכְרַתִּיךָ מִן־הָעַמִּים וְהַאֲבַדְתִּיךָ מִן־הָאֲרָצֹות אַשְׁמִידְךָ וְיָדַעְתָּ כִּי־אֲנִי יְהוָה׃ ס |
