| 17 | And the word of Yahweh came to me: | God's refining furnace. Eze.22.17-22 | וַיְהִי דְבַר־יְהוָה אֵלַי לֵאמֹר׃ |

| 18 | "Son of man, the house of Israel has become dross to me; all of them, silver and bronze and tin and iron and lead in the furnace, have become dross. | | בֶּן־אָדָם הָיוּ־לִי בֵית־יִשְׂרָאֵל כ= לְסוּג ק= לְסִיג כֻּלָּם נְחֹשֶׁת וּבְדִיל וּבַרְזֶל וְעֹופֶרֶת בְּתֹוךְ כּוּר סִגִים כֶּסֶף הָיוּ׃ ס |

| 19 | Therefore thus says Yahweh GOD: Because you have all become dross, therefore, behold, I will gather you into the midst of Jerusalem. | | לָכֵן כֹּה אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה יַעַן הֱיֹות כֻּלְּכֶם לְסִגִים לָכֵן הִנְנִי קֹבֵץ אֶתְכֶם אֶל־תֹּוךְ יְרוּשָׁלִָם׃ |

| 20 | As men gather silver and bronze and iron and lead and tin into a furnace, to blow the fire upon it in order to melt it; so I will gather you in my anger and in my wrath, and I will put you in and melt you. | | קְבֻצַת כֶּסֶף וּנְחֹשֶׁת וּבַרְזֶל וְעֹופֶרֶת וּבְדִיל אֶל־תֹּוךְ כּוּר לָפַחַת־עָלָיו אֵשׁ לְהַנְתִּיךְ כֵּן אֶקְבֹּץ בְּאַפִּי וּבַחֲמָתִי וְהִנַּחְתִּי וְהִתַּכְתִּי אֶתְכֶם׃ |

| 21 | I will gather you and blow upon you with the fire of my wrath, and you shall be melted in the midst of it. | | וְכִנַּסְתִּי אֶתְכֶם וְנָפַחְתִּי עֲלֵיכֶם בְּאֵשׁ עֶבְרָתִי וְנִתַּכְתֶּם בְּתֹוכָהּ׃ |

| 22 | As silver is melted in a furnace, so you shall be melted in the midst of it; and you shall know that I Yahweh have poured out my wrath upon you." | | כְּהִתּוּךְ כֶּסֶף בְּתֹוךְ כּוּר כֵּן תֻּתְּכוּ בְתֹוכָהּ וִידַעְתֶּם כִּי־אֲנִי יְהוָה שָׁפַכְתִּי חֲמָתִי עֲלֵיכֶם׃ ף |
