| 45 | And the word of Yahweh came to me: | Fire in the south. Eze.21.45-49 | וַיְהִי דְבַר־יְהוָה אֵלַי לֵאמֹר׃ |

| 46 | "Son of man, set your face toward the south, preach against the south, and prophesy against the forest land in the Negeb; | | בֶּן־אָדָם שִׂים פָּנֶיךָ דֶּרֶךְ תֵּימָנָה וְהַטֵּף אֶל־דָּרֹום וְהִנָּבֵא אֶל־יַעַר הַשָּׂדֶה נֶגֶב׃ |

| 47 | say to the forest of the Negeb, Hear the word of Yahweh: Thus says Yahweh GOD, Behold, I will kindle a fire in you, and it shall devour every green tree in you and every dry tree; the blazing flame shall not be quenched, and all faces from south to north shall be scorched by it. | | וְאָמַרְתָּ לְיַעַר הַנֶּגֶב שְׁמַע דְּבַר־יְהוָה כֹּה־אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה הִנְנִי מַצִּית־בְּךָ אֵשׁ וְאָכְלָה בְךָ כָל־עֵץ־לַח וְכָל־עֵץ יָבֵשׁ לֹא־תִכְבֶּה לַהֶבֶת שַׁלְהֶבֶת וְנִצְרְבוּ־בָהּ כָּל־פָּנִים מִנֶּגֶב צָפֹונָה׃ |

| 48 | All flesh shall see that I Yahweh have kindled it; it shall not be quenched." | | וְרָאוּ כָּל־בָּשָׂר כִּי אֲנִי יְהוָה בִּעַרְתִּיהָ לֹא תִּכְבֶּה׃ |

| 49 | Then I said, "Ah Yahweh God! they are saying of me, 'Is he not a maker of allegories?' " | | וָאֹמַר אֲהָהּ אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה הֵמָּה אֹמְרִים לִי הֲלֹא מְמַשֵּׁל מְשָׁלִים הוּא׃ ף |
