| 2 | And he did what was evil in the sight of Yahweh, according to all that Jehoiakim had done. | | וַיַּעַשׂ הָרַע בְּעֵינֵי יְהוָה כְּכֹל אֲשֶׁר־עָשָׂה יְהֹויָקִים׃ |

| 3 | Surely because of the anger of Yahweh things came to such a pass in Jerusalem and Judah that he cast them out from his presence.
