49 1Concerning the Ammonites.

Thus says Yahweh:
"Has Israel no sons?
Has he no heir?
Why then has Milcom dispossessed Gad,
and his people settled in its cities?

The LORD's judgement on Ammon. Jr.49.1-6לִבְנֵי עַמֹּון כֹּה אָמַר יְהוָה
    הֲבָנִים אֵין לְיִשְׂרָאֵל אִם־יֹורֵשׁ אֵין לֹו
    מַדּוּעַ יָרַשׁ מַלְכָּם אֶת־גָּד וְעַמֹּו בְּעָרָיו יָשָׁב׃
