| 22 | Moreover, the LORD said to Moses, | The chrism oil. Ex.30.22-33 | וַיְדַבֵּר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר׃ |

| 23 | "Take the finest spices: of liquid myrrh five hundred shekels, and of sweet-smelling cinnamon half as much, that is, two hundred and fifty, and of aromatic cane two hundred and fifty, | | וְאַתָּה קַח־לְךָ בְּשָׂמִים רֹאשׁ מָר־דְּרֹור חֲמֵשׁ מֵאֹות וְקִןְּמָן־בֶּשֶׂם מַחֲצִיתֹו חֲמִשִּׁים וּמָאתָיִם וּקְנֵה־בֹשֶׂם חֲמִשִּׁים וּמָאתָיִם׃ |

| 24 | and of cassia five hundred, according to the shekel of the sanctuary, and of olive oil a hin; | | וְקִדָּה חֲמֵשׁ מֵאֹות בְּשֶׁקֶל הַקֹּדֶשׁ וְשֶׁמֶן זַיִת הִין׃ |

| 25 | and you shall make of these a sacred anointing oil blended as by the perfumer; a holy anointing oil it shall be. | | וְעָשִׂיתָ אֹתֹו שֶׁמֶן מִשְׁחַת־קֹדֶשׁ רֹקַח מִרְקַחַת מַעֲשֵׂה רֹקֵחַ שֶׁמֶן מִשְׁחַת־קֹדֶשׁ יִהְיֶה׃ |

| 26 | And you shall anoint with it the tent of meeting and the ark of the testimony, | | וּמָשַׁחְתָּ בֹו אֶת־אֹהֶל מֹועֵד וְאֵת אֲרֹון הָעֵדֻת׃ |
|
| 27 | and the table and all its utensils, and the lampstand and its utensils, and the altar of incense, | | וְאֶת־הַשֻּׁלְחָן וְאֶת־כָּל־כֵּלָיו וְאֶת־הַמְּנֹרָה וְאֶת־כֵּלֶיהָ וְאֵת מִזְבַּח הַקְּטֹרֶת׃ |

| 28 | and the altar of burnt offering with all its utensils and the laver and its base; | | וְאֶת־מִזְבַּח הָעֹלָה וְאֶת־כָּל־כֵּלָיו וְאֶת־הַכִּיֹּר וְאֶת־כַּנֹּו׃ |

| 29 | you shall consecrate them, that they may be most holy; whatever touches them will become holy. | | וְקִדַּשְׁתָּ אֹתָם וְהָיוּ קֹדֶשׁ קָדָשִׁים כָּל־הַנֹּגֵעַ בָּהֶם יִקְדָּשׁ׃ |

| 30 | And you shall anoint Aaron and his sons, and consecrate them, that they may serve me as priests. | | וְאֶת־אַהֲרֹן וְאֶת־בָּנָיו תִּמְשָׁח וְקִדַּשְׁתָּ אֹתָם לְכַהֵן לִי׃ |

| 31 | And you shall say to the people of Israel, 'This shall be my holy anointing oil throughout your generations. | | וְאֶל־בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל תְּדַבֵּר לֵאמֹר שֶׁמֶן מִשְׁחַת־קֹדֶשׁ יִהְיֶה זֶה לִי לְדֹרֹתֵיכֶם׃ |

| 32 | It shall not be poured upon the bodies of ordinary men, and you shall make no other like it in composition; it is holy, and it shall be holy to you. | | עַל־בְּשַׂר אָדָם לֹא יִיסָךְ וּבְמַתְכֻּנְתֹּו לֹא תַעֲשׂוּ כָּמֹהוּ קֹדֶשׁ הוּא קֹדֶשׁ יִהְיֶה לָכֶם׃ |

| 33 | Whoever compounds any like it or whoever puts any of it on an outsider shall be cut off from his people.'" | | אִישׁ אֲשֶׁר יִרְקַח כָּמֹהוּ וַאֲשֶׁר יִתֵּן מִמֶּנּוּ עַל־זָר וְנִכְרַת מֵעַמָּיו׃ ס |

| 34 | And the LORD said to Moses, "Take sweet spices, stacte, and onycha, and galbanum, sweet spices with pure frankincense (of each shall there be an equal part), | Incense. Ex.30.34-38 | וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה קַח־לְךָ סַמִּים נָטָף וּשְׁחֵלֶת וְחֶלְבְּנָה סַמִּים וּלְבֹנָה זַכָּה בַּד בְּבַד יִהְיֶה׃ |

| 35 | and make an incence blended as by the perfumer, seasoned with salt, pure and holy; | | וְעָשִׂיתָ אֹתָהּ קְטֹרֶת רֹקַח מַעֲשֵׂה רֹוקֵחַ מְמֻלָּח טָהֹור קֹדֶשׁ׃ |

| 36 | and you shall beat some of it very small, and put part of it before the testimony in the tent of meeting where I shall meet with you; it shall be for you most holy. | | וְשָׁחַקְתָּ מִמֶּנָּה הָדֵק וְנָתַתָּה מִמֶּנָּה לִפְנֵי הָעֵדֻת בְּאֹהֶל מֹועֵד אֲשֶׁר אִוָּעֵד לְךָ שָׁמָּה קֹדֶשׁ קָדָשִׁים תִּהְיֶה לָכֶם׃ |

| 37 | And the incense which you shall make according to its composition, you shall not make for yourselves; it shall be for you holy to the LORD. | | וְהַקְּטֹרֶת אֲשֶׁר תַּעֲשֶׂה בְּמַתְכֻּנְתָּהּ לֹא תַעֲשׂוּ לָכֶם קֹדֶשׁ תִּהְיֶה לְךָ לַיהוָה׃ |
|
| 38 | Whoever makes any like it to use as perfume shall be cut off from the people." | | אִישׁ אֲשֶׁר־יַעֲשֶׂה כָמֹוהָ לְהָרִיחַ בָּהּ וְנִכְרַת מֵעַמָּיו׃ ס |
