| 12 | Yahweh said to Moses, "Come up to me on the mountain, and wait there; and I will give you the tables of stone, with the law and the commandment, which I have written for their instruction." | Moses on mount Sinai. Ex.24.12-18 | וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה עֲלֵה אֵלַי הָהָרָה וֶהְיֵה־שָׁם וְאֶתְּנָה לְךָ אֶת־לֻחֹת הָאֶבֶן וְהַתֹּורָה וְהַמִּצְוָה אֲשֶׁר כָּתַבְתִּי לְהֹורֹתָם׃ |

| 13 | So Moses rose with his servant Joshua, and Moses went up into the mountain of God. | | וַיָּקָם מֹשֶׁה וִיהֹושֻׁעַ מְשָׁרְתֹו וַיַּעַל מֹשֶׁה אֶל־הַר הָאֱלֹהִים׃ |

| 16 | The glory of Yahweh settled on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days; and on the seventh day he called to Moses out of the midst of the cloud. | | וַיִּשְׁכֹּן כְּבֹוד־יְהוָה עַל־הַר סִינַי וַיְכַסֵּהוּ הֶעָןָן שֵׁשֶׁת יָמִים וַיִּקְרָא אֶל־מֹשֶׁה בַּיֹּום הַשְּׁבִיעִי מִתֹּוךְ הֶעָןָן׃ |

| 17 | Now the appearance of the glory of Yahweh was like a devouring fire on the top of the mountain in the sight of the people of Israel. | | וּמַרְאֵה כְּבֹוד יְהוָה כְּאֵשׁ אֹכֶלֶת בְּרֹאשׁ הָהָר לְעֵינֵי בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל׃ |
