| 138 1 | I give you thanks, O Yahweh, with my whole heart; before the gods I sing your praise; | I thank You O Lord. Psalm 138(v137) | אֹודְךָ בְכָל־לִבִּי נֶגֶד אֱלֹהִים אֲזַמְּרֶךָּ׃ |
| 2 | I bow down toward your holy temple and give thanks to your name for your steadfast love and your faithfulness; for you have exalted above everything your name and your word. | אֶשְׁתַּחֲוֶה אֶל־הֵיכַל קָדְשְׁךָ וְאֹודֶה אֶת־שְׁמֶךָ עַל־חַסְדְּךָ וְעַל־אֲמִתֶּךָ כִּי־הִגְדַּלְתָּ עַל־כָּל־שִׁמְךָ אִמְרָתֶךָ׃ | |
| 3 | On the day I called, you answered me, my strength of soul you increased. | בְּיֹום קָרָאתִי וַתַּעֲנֵנִי תַּרְהִבֵנִי בְנַפְשִׁי עֹז׃ | |
| 4 | All the kings of the earth shall praise you, O Yahweh, for they have heard the words of your mouth; | יֹודוּךָ יְהוָה כָּל־מַלְכֵי־אָרֶץ כִּי שָׁמְעוּ אִמְרֵי־פִיךָ׃ | |
| 5 | and they shall sing of the ways of Yahweh, for great is the glory of Yahweh. | וְיָשִׁירוּ בְּדַרְכֵי יְהוָה כִּי גָדֹול כְּבֹוד יְהוָה׃ | |
| 6 | For though Yahweh is high, he regards the lowly; but the haughty he knows from afar. | כִּי־רָם יְהוָה וְשָׁפָל יִרְאֶה וְגָבֹהַּ מִמֶּרְחָק יְיֵדָע׃ | |
| 7 | Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life; you stretch out your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and your right hand delivers me. | אִם־אֵלֵךְ בְּקֶרֶב צָרָה תְּחַיֵּנִי עַל אַף אֹיְבַי תִּשְׁלַח יָדֶךָ וְתֹושִׁיעֵנִי יְמִינֶךָ׃ | |
| 8 | Yahweh will fulfil his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O Yahweh, endures for ever. Do not forsake the work of your hands. | יְהוָה יִגְמֹר בַּעֲדִי יְהוָה חַסְדְּךָ לְעֹולָם מַעֲשֵׂי יָדֶיךָ אַל־תֶּרֶף׃ | |
