| 97 1 | Yahweh reigns; let the earth rejoice; let the many coastlands be glad! | The Lord is King!. Psalm 97(v96) | יְהוָה מָלָךְ תָּגֵל הָאָרֶץ יִשְׂמְחוּ אִיִּים רַבִּים׃ |
| 2 | Clouds and thick darkness are round about him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne. | עָןָן וַעֲרָפֶל סְבִיבָיו צֶדֶק וּמִשְׁפָּט מְכֹון כִּסְאֹו׃ | |
| 3 | Fire goes before him, and burns up his adversaries round about. | אֵשׁ לְפָנָיו תֵּלֵךְ וּתְלַהֵט סָבִיב צָרָיו׃ | |
| 4 | His lightnings lighten the world; the earth sees and trembles. | הֵאִירוּ בְרָקָיו תֵּבֵל רָאֲתָה וַתָּחֵל הָאָרֶץ׃ | |
| 5 | The mountains melt like wax before Yahweh, before Yahweh of all the earth. | הָרִים כַּדֹּונַג נָמַסּוּ מִלִּפְנֵי יְהוָה מִלִּפְנֵי אֲדֹון כָּל־הָאָרֶץ׃ | |
| 6 | The heavens proclaim his righteousness; and all the peoples behold his glory. | הִגִּידוּ הַשָּׁמַיִם צִדְקֹו וְרָאוּ כָל־הָעַמִּים כְּבֹודֹו׃ | |
| 7 | All worshipers of images are put to shame, who make their boast in worthless idols; all gods bow down before him. | יֵבֹשׁוּ כָּל־עֹבְדֵי פֶסֶל הַמִּתְהַלְלִים בָּאֱלִילִים הִשְׁתַּחֲווּ־לֹו כָּל־אֱלֹהִים׃ | |
| 8 | Zion hears and is glad, and the daughters of Judah rejoice, because of your judgments, O God. | שָׁמְעָה וַתִּשְׂמַח צִיֹּון וַתָּגֵלְנָה בְּנֹות יְהוּדָה לְמַעַן מִשְׁפָּטֶיךָ יְהוָה׃ | |
| 9 | For you, O Yahweh, are most high over all the earth; you are exalted far above all gods. | כִּי־אַתָּה יְהוָה עֶלְיֹון עַל־כָּל־הָאָרֶץ מְאֹד נַעֲלֵיתָ עַל־כָּל־אֱלֹהִים׃ | |
| 10 | Yahweh loves those who hate evil; he preserves the lives of his saints; he delivers them from the hand of the wicked. | אֹהֲבֵי יְהוָה שִׂנְאוּ רָע שֹׁמֵר נַפְשֹׁות חֲסִידָיו מִיַּד רְשָׁעִים יַצִּילֵם׃ | |
