| 86 1 | Incline your ear, O Yahweh, and answer me, for I am poor and needy. | Incline Thine Ear O Lord. Psalm 86(v85) | הַטֵּה־יְהוָה אָזְנְךָ עֲנֵנִי כִּי־עָנִי וְאֶבְיֹון אָנִי׃ |
| 2 | Preserve my life, for I am godly; save your servant who trusts in you. You are my God; | שָׁמְרָה נַפְשִׁי כִּי־חָסִיד אָנִי הֹושַׁע עַבְדְּךָ אַתָּה אֱלֹהַי הַבֹּוטֵחַ אֵלֶיךָ׃ | |
| 3 | be gracious to me, O Yahweh, for to you do I cry all the day. | חָנֵּנִי אֲדֹנָי כִּי אֵלֶיךָ אֶקְרָא כָּל־הַיֹּום׃ | |
| 4 | Gladden the soul of your servant, for to you, O Yahweh, do I lift up my soul. | שַׂמֵּחַ נֶפֶשׁ עַבְדֶּךָ כִּי אֵלֶיךָ אֲדֹנָי נַפְשִׁי אֶשָּׂא׃ | |
| 5 | For you are good and forgiving, O Yahweh, abounding in steadfast love to all who call on you. | כִּי־אַתָּה אֲדֹנָי טֹוב וְסַלָּח וְרַב־חֶסֶד לְכָל־קֹרְאֶיךָ׃ | |
| 6 | Give ear, O Yahweh, to my prayer; hearken to my cry of supplication. | הַאֲזִינָה יְהוָה תְּפִלָּתִי וְהַקְשִׁיבָה בְּקֹול תַּחֲנוּנֹותָי׃ | |
| 7 | In the day of my trouble I call on you, for you answer me. | בְּיֹום צָרָתִי אֶקְרָאֶךָּ כִּי תַעֲנֵנִי׃ | |
| 8 | There is none like you among the gods, O Yahweh, nor are there any works like yours. | אֵין־כָּמֹוךָ בָאֱלֹהִים אֲדֹנָי וְאֵין כְּמַעֲשֶׂיךָ׃ | |
| 9 | All the nations you have made shall come and bow down before you, O Yahweh, and shall glorify your name. | כָּל־גֹּויִם אֲשֶׁר עָשִׂיתָ יָבֹואוּ וְיִשְׁתַּחֲווּ לְפָנֶיךָ אֲדֹנָי וִיכַבְּדוּ לִשְׁמֶךָ׃ | |
| 10 | For you are great and do wondrous things, you alone are God. | כִּי־גָדֹול אַתָּה וְעֹשֵׂה נִפְלָאֹות אַתָּה אֱלֹהִים לְבַדֶּךָ׃ | |
| 11 | Teach me your way, O Yahweh, that I may walk in your truth; unite my heart to fear your name. | הֹורֵנִי יְהוָה דַּרְךֶּךָ אֲהַלֵּךְ בַּאֲמִתֶּךָ יַחֵד לְבָבִי לְיִרְאָה שְׁמֶךָ׃ | |
| 12 | I give thanks to you, O Yahweh my God, with my whole heart, and I will glorify your name for ever. | אֹודְךָ׃ אֲדֹנָי אֱלֹהַי בְּכָל־לְבָבִי וַאֲכַבְּדָה שִׁמְךָ לְעֹולָם׃ | |
| 13 | For great is your steadfast love toward me; you have delivered my soul from the depths of Sheol. | כִּי־חַסְדְּךָ גָּדֹול עָלָי וְהִצַּלְתָּ נַפְשִׁי מִשְּׁאֹול תַּחְתִּיָּה׃ | |
| 14 | O God, insolent men have risen up against me; a band of ruthless men seek my life, and they do not set you before them. | אֱלֹהִים זֵדִים קָמוּ־עָלַי וַעֲדַת עָרִיצִים בִּקְשׁוּ נַפְשִׁי וְלֹא שָׂמוּךָ לְנֶגְדָּם׃ | |
| 15 | But you, O Yahweh, are a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness. | וְאַתָּה אֲדֹנָי אֵל־רַחוּם וְחַנּוּן אֶרֶךְ אַפַּיִם וְרַב־חֶסֶד וֶאֱמֶת׃ | |
| 16 | Turn to me and take pity on me; give your strength to your servant, and save the son of your handmaid. | פְּנֵה אֵלַי וְחָנֵּנִי תְּנָה־עֻזְּךָ לְעַבְדֶּךָ וְהֹושִׁיעָה לְבֶן־אֲמָתֶךָ׃ | |
| 17 | Show me a sign of your favour, that those who hate me may see and be put to shame because you, LORD, have helped me and comforted me. | עֲשֵׂה־עִמִּי אֹות לְטֹובָה וְיִרְאוּ שֹׂנְאַי וְיֵבֹשׁוּ כִּי־אַתָּה יְהוָה עֲזַרְתַּנִי וְנִחַמְתָּנִי׃ | |
