| 70 1 | Be pleased, O God, to deliver me! O Yahweh, make haste to help me! | אֱלֹהִים לְהַצִּילֵנִי יְהוָה לְעֶזְרָתִי חוּשָׁה׃ | |
| 2 | Let them be put to shame and confusion who seek my life! Let them be turned back and brought to dishonour who desire my hurt! | יֵבֹשׁוּ וְיַחְפְּרוּ מְבַקְשֵׁי נַפְשִׁי יִסֹּגוּ אָחֹור וְיִכָּלְמוּ חֲפֵצֵי רָעָתִי׃ | |
| 3 | Let them be appalled because of their shame who say, "Aha, Aha!" | יָשׁוּבוּ עַל־עֵקֶב בָּשְׁתָּם הָאֹמְרִים הֶאָח הֶאָח׃ | |
| 4 | May all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you! May those who love your salvation say evermore, "God is great!" | יָשִׂישׂוּ וְיִשְׂמְחוּ בְּךָ כָּל־מְבַקְשֶׁיךָ וְיֹאמְרוּ תָמִיד יִגְדַּל אֱלֹהִים אֹהֲבֵי יְשׁוּעָתֶךָ׃ | |
| 5 | But I am poor and needy; hasten to me, O God! You are my help and my deliverer; O Yahweh, do not tarry! | וַאֲנִי עָנִי וְאֶבְיֹון אֱלֹהִים חוּשָׁה־לִּי עֶזְרִי וּמְפַלְטִי אַתָּה יְהוָה אַל־תְּאַחַר׃ | |
