	To the choirmaster. A Psalm of the Sons of Korah. According to Alamoth. A Song.	God our Refuge & Strength. Psalm 46(v45)	לַמְנַצֵּחַ לִבְנֵי־קֹרַח עַל־עֲלָמֹות שִׁיר׃
46 1	God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.		אֱלֹהִים לָנוּ מַחֲסֶה וָעֹז עֶזְרָה בְצָרֹות נִמְצָא מְאֹד׃
2	Therefore we will not fear though the earth should change, though the mountains shake in the heart of the sea;		עַל־כֵּן לֹא־נִירָא בְּהָמִיר אָרֶץ וּבְמֹוט הָרִים בְּלֵב יַמִּים׃
3	though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble with its tumult. Selah		יֶהֱמוּ יֶחְמְרוּ מֵימָיו יִרְעֲשׁוּ־הָרִים בְּגַאֲוָתֹו סֶלָה׃
4	There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy habitation of the Most High.		נָהָר פְּלָגָיו יְשַׂמְּחוּ עִיר־אֱלֹהִים קְדֹשׁ מִשְׁכְּנֵי עֶלְיֹון׃
5	God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved; God will help her right early.		אֱלֹהִים בְּקִרְבָּהּ בַּל־תִּמֹּוט יַעְזְרֶהָ אֱלֹהִים לִפְנֹות בֹּקֶר׃
6	The nations rage, the kingdoms totter; he utters his voice, the earth melts.		הָמוּ גֹויִם מָטוּ מַמְלָכֹות נָתַן בְּקֹולֹו תָּמוּג אָרֶץ׃
7	Yahweh of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah		יְהוָה צְבָאֹות עִמָּנוּ מִשְׂגָּב־לָנוּ אֱלֹהֵי יַעֲקֹב סֶלָה׃
8	Come, behold the works of Yahweh, how he has wrought desolations in the earth.		לְכוּ־חֲזוּ מִפְעֲלֹות יְהוָה אֲשֶׁר־שָׂם שַׁמֹּות בָּאָרֶץ׃
9	He makes wars cease to the end of the earth; he breaks the bow, and shatters the spear, he burns the chariots with fire!		מַשְׁבִּית מִלְחָמֹות עַד־קְצֵה הָאָרֶץ קֶשֶׁת יְשַׁבֵּר וְקִץֵּץ חֲנִית עֲגָלֹות יִשְׂרֹף בָּאֵשׁ׃
10	"Be still, and know that I am God. I am exalted among the nations, I am exalted in the earth!"		הַרְפּוּ וּדְעוּ כִּי־אָנֹכִי אֱלֹהִים אָרוּם בַּגֹּויִם אָרוּם בָּאָרֶץ׃
11	The Yahweh of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge.		יְהוָה צְבָאֹות עִמָּנוּ מִשְׂגָּב־לָנוּ אֱלֹהֵי יַעֲקֹב סֶלָה׃

The katapi NEW STUDY BIBLE is a very light revision of the RSV. The changes are: (1) In places where 'the LORD', 'O LORD' occurs in the RSV, (it represents the tetragrammaton - YHWH - which is in the hebrew text), I have used the name 'Yahweh'.
(2) I have removed the quotation marks and hyphens that were used in so many names in the RSV as an aid to correct pronunciation. This now brings it in line with all other English versions, and makes any word-search more accurate.
(3) I have changed all (I hope!) of the RSV archaic language sections to modern.

Quotations of OT passages by NT authors can in most cases be viewed within their context of the OT passage as a whole, with the quoted text displayed, against a subdued background.
