| 6 1 | O Yahweh, rebuke me not in your anger, nor chasten me in your wrath. | יְהוָה אַל־בְּאַפְּךָ תֹוכִיחֵנִי וְאַל־בַּחֲמָתְךָ תְיַסְּרֵנִי׃ | |
| 2 | Be gracious to me, O Yahweh, for I am languishing; O Yahweh, heal me, for my bones are troubled. | חָנֵּנִי יְהוָה כִּי אֻמְלַל אָנִי רְפָאֵנִי יְהוָה כִּי נִבְהֲלוּ עֲצָמָי׃ | |
| 3 | My soul also is sorely troubled. But you, O Yahweh - how long? | וְנַפְשִׁי נִבְהֲלָה מְאֹד כ= וְאַתְּ ק= וְאַתָּה יְהוָה עַד־מָתָי׃ | |
| 4 | Turn, O Yahweh, save my life; deliver me for the sake of your steadfast love. | שׁוּבָה יְהוָה חַלְּצָה נַפְשִׁי הֹושִׁיעֵנִי לְמַעַן חַסְדֶּךָ׃ | |
| 5 | For in death there is no remembrance of you; in Sheol who can give you praise? | כִּי אֵין בַּמָּוֶת זִכְרֶךָ בִּשְׁאֹול מִי יֹודֶה־לָּךְ׃ | |
| 6 | I am weary with my moaning; every night I flood my bed with tears; I drench my couch with my weeping. | יָגַעְתִּי בְּאַנְחָתִי אַשְׂחֶה בְכָל־לַיְלָה מִטָּתִי בְּדִמְעָתִי עַרְשִׂי אַמְסֶה׃ | |
| 7 | My eye wastes away because of grief, it grows weak because of all my foes. | עָשְׁשָׁה מִכַּעַס עֵינִי עָתְקָה בְּכָל־צֹורְרָי׃ | |
| 8 | Depart from me, all you workers of evil; for Yahweh has heard the sound of my weeping. | סוּרוּ מִמֶּנִּי כָּל־פֹּעֲלֵי אָוֶן כִּי־שָׁמַע יְהוָה קֹול בִּכְיִי׃ | |
| 9 | Yahweh has heard my supplication; Yahweh accepts my prayer. | שָׁמַע יְהוָה תְּחִנָּתִי יְהוָה תְּפִלָּתִי יִקָּח׃ | |
| 10 | All my enemies shall be ashamed and sorely troubled; they shall turn back, and be put to shame in a moment. | יֵבֹשׁוּ וְיִבָּהֲלוּ מְאֹד כָּל־אֹיְבָי יָשֻׁבוּ יֵבֹשׁוּ רָגַע׃ | |
