| 3 1 | O Yahweh, how many are my foes! Many are rising against me; | יְהוָה מָה־רַבּוּ צָרָי רַבִּים קָמִים עָלָי׃ | |
| 2 | many are saying of me, there is no help for him in God. Selah | רַבִּים אֹמְרִים לְנַפְשִׁי אֵין יְשׁוּעָתָה לֹּו בֵאלֹהִים סֶלָה׃ | |
| 3 | But you, O Yahweh, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head. | וְאַתָּה יְהוָה מָגֵן בַּעֲדִי כְּבֹודִי וּמֵרִים רֹאשִׁי׃ | |
| 4 | I cry aloud to Yahweh, and he answers me from his holy hill. Selah | קֹולִי אֶל־יְהוָה אֶקְרָא וַיַּעֲנֵנִי מֵהַר קָדְשֹׁו סֶלָה׃ | |

| 7 | Arise, O Yahweh! Deliver me, O my God! For you smite all my enemies on the cheek, you break the teeth of the wicked. | קוּמָה יְהוָה הֹושִׁיעֵנִי אֱלֹהַי כִּי־הִכִּיתָ אֶת־כָּל־אֹיְבַי לֶחִי שִׁנֵּי רְשָׁעִים שִׁבַּרְתָּ׃ | |
