| 25 1 | Then Bildad the Shuhite answered: | Bildad. Jb.25.1-6 | וַיַּעַן בִּלְדַּד הַשֻּׁחִי וַיֹּאמַר׃ |
| 2 | "Dominion and fear are with God; he makes peace in his high heaven. | הַמְשֵׁל וָפַחַד עִמֹּו עֹשֶׂה שָׁלֹום בִּמְרֹומָיו׃ | |
| 3 | Is there any number to his armies? Upon whom does his light not arise? | הֲיֵשׁ מִסְפָּר לִגְדוּדָיו וְעַל־מִי לֹא־יָקוּם אֹורֵהוּ׃ | |
| 4 | How then can man be righteous before God? How can he who is born of woman be clean? | וּמַה־יִּצְדַּק אֱנֹושׁ עִם־אֵל וּמַה־יִּזְכֶּה יְלוּד אִשָּׁה׃ | |
| 5 | Behold, even the moon is not bright and the stars are not clean in his sight; | הֵן עַד־יָרֵחַ וְלֹא יַאֲהִיל וְכֹוכָבִים לֹא־זַכּוּ בְעֵינָיו׃ | |
| 6 | how much less man, who is a maggot, and the son of man, who is a worm!" | אַף כִּי־אֱנֹושׁ רִמָּה וּבֶן־אָדָם תֹּולֵעָה׃ ף | |
