| 12 1 | These are the priests and the Levites who came back with Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua Or Joshua: Seraiah, Jeremiah, Ezra, | Census - those who returned with Zerubabel, Shealtiel & Jeshua. Ne.12.1-21 | וְאֵלֶּה הַכֹּהֲנִים וְהַלְוִיִּם אֲשֶׁר עָלוּ עִם־זְרֻבָּבֶל בֶּן־שְׁאַלְתִּיאֵל וְיֵשׁוּעַ שְׂרָיָה יִרְמְיָה עֶזְרָא׃ |

| 2 | Amariah, Malluch, Hattush, | | אֲמַרְיָה מַלּוּךְ חַטּוּשׁ׃ |

| 3 | Shecaniah, Rehum, Meremoth, | | שְׁכַנְיָה רְחֻם מְרֵמֹת׃ |

| 4 | Iddo, Ginnethon, Abiah, | | עִדֹּוא גִנְּתֹוי אֲבִיָּה׃ |
|
| 5 | Mijamin, Maadiah, Bilgah, | | מִיָּמִין מַעַדְיָה בִּלְגָּה׃ |
|
| 6 | Shemaiah, Joiarib, Jedaiah, | | שְׁמַעְיָה וְיֹויָרִיב יְדַעְיָה׃ |
|
| 7 | Sallu, Amok, Hilkiah, Jedaiah. These were the chiefs of the priests and of their brethren in the days of Jeshua.
| | סַלּוּ עָמֹוק חִלְקִיָּה יְדַעְיָה אֵלֶּה רָאשֵׁי הַכֹּהֲנִים וַאֲחֵיהֶם בִּימֵי יֵשׁוּעַ׃ ף |

| 8 | And the Levites: Jeshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Judah, and Mattaniah, who with his brethren was in charge of the songs of thanksgiving. | | וְהַלְוִיִּם יֵשׁוּעַ בִּנּוּי קַדְמִיאֵל שֵׁרֵבְיָה יְהוּדָה מַתַּנְיָה עַל־הֻיְּדֹות הוּא וְאֶחָיו׃ |

| 9 | And Bakbukiah and Unni their brethren stood opposite them in the service. | | וּבַקְבֻּקְיָה כ= וְעֻנֹּו ק= וְעֻנִּי אֲחֵיהֶם לְנֶגְדָּם לְמִשְׁמָרֹות׃ |

| 10 | And Jeshua was the father of Joiakim, Joiakim the father of Eliashib, Eliashib of Joiada, | | וְיֵשׁוּעַ הֹולִיד אֶת־יֹויָקִים וְיֹויָקִים הֹולִיד אֶת־אֶלְיָשִׁיב וְאֶלְיָשִׁיב אֶת־יֹויָדָע׃ |

| 11 | Joiada the father of Jonathan, and Jonathan the father of Jaddua. | | וְיֹויָדָע הֹולִיד אֶת־יֹונָתָן וְיֹונָתָן הֹולִיד אֶת־יַדּוּעַ׃ |

| 12 | And in the days of Joiakim the priests who were heads of families were: of Seraiah, Meraiah; of Jeremiah, Hananiah; | | וּבִימֵי יֹויָקִים הָיוּ כֹהֲנִים רָאשֵׁי הָאָבֹות לִשְׂרָיָה מְרָיָה לְיִרְמְיָה חֲנַנְיָה׃ |

| 13 | of Ezra, Meshullam; of Amariah, Jehohanan; | | לְעֶזְרָא מְשֻׁלָּם לַאֲמַרְיָה יְהֹוחָןָן׃ |
