13	Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred and sixty-six talents of gold,	King Solomon's wealth. 2Chr.9.13-28 \| 1Kgs.10.14-25	וַיְהִי מִשְׁקַל הַזָּהָב אֲשֶׁר־בָּא לִשְׁלֹמֹה בְּשָׁנָה אֶחָת שֵׁשׁ מֵאֹות וְשִׁשִּׁים וָשֵׁשׁ כִּכְּרֵי זָהָב׃
14	besides that which the traders and merchants brought; and all the kings of Arabia and the governors of the land brought gold and silver to Solomon.		לְבַד מֵאַנְשֵׁי הַתָּרִים וְהַסֹּחֲרִים מְבִיאִים וְכָל־מַלְכֵי עֲרַב וּפַחֹות הָאָרֶץ מְבִיאִים זָהָב וָכֶסֶף לִשְׁלֹמֹה׃
15	King Solomon made two hundred large shields of beaten gold; six hundred shekels of beaten gold went into each shield.		וַיַּעַשׂ הַמֶּלֶךְ שְׁלֹמֹה מָאתַיִם צִנָּה זָהָב שָׁחוּט שֵׁשׁ מֵאֹות זָהָב שָׁחוּט יַעֲלֶה עַל־הַצִּנָּה הָאֶחָת׃
16	And he made three hundred shields of beaten gold; three hundred shekels of gold went into each shield; and the king put them in the House of the Forest of Lebanon.		וּשְׁלֹשׁ־מֵאֹות מָגִנִּים זָהָב שָׁחוּט שְׁלֹשׁ מֵאֹות זָהָב יַעֲלֶה עַל־הַמָּגֵן הָאֶחָת וַיִּתְּנֵם הַמֶּלֶךְ בְּבֵית יַעַר הַלְּבָנֹון׃ ף
17	The king also made a great ivory throne, and overlaid it with pure gold.		וַיַּעַשׂ הַמֶּלֶךְ כִּסֵּא־שֵׁן גָּדֹול וַיְצַפֵּהוּ זָהָב טָהֹור׃
18	The throne had six steps and a footstool of gold, which were attached to the throne, and on each side of the seat were arm rests and two lions standing beside the arm rests,		וְשֵׁשׁ מַעֲלֹות לַכִּסֵּא וְכֶבֶשׁ בַּזָּהָב לַכִּסֵּא מָאֳחָזִים וְיָדֹות מִזֶּה וּמִזֶּה עַל־מְקֹום הַשָּׁבֶת וּשְׁנַיִם אֲרָיֹות עֹמְדִים אֵצֶל הַיָּדֹות׃
19	while twelve lions stood there, one on each end of a step on the six steps. The like of it was never made in any kingdom.		וּשְׁנֵים עָשָׂר אֲרָיֹות עֹמְדִים שָׁם עַל־שֵׁשׁ הַמַּעֲלֹות מִזֶּה וּמִזֶּה לֹא־נַעֲשָׂה כֵן לְכָל־מַמְלָכָה׃
20	All King Solomon's drinking vessels were of gold, and all the vessels of the House of the Forest of Lebanon were of pure gold; silver was not considered as anything in the days of Solomon.		וְכֹל כְּלֵי מַשְׁקֵה הַמֶּלֶךְ שְׁלֹמֹה זָהָב וְכֹל כְּלֵי בֵּית־יַעַר הַלְּבָנֹון זָהָב סָגוּר אֵין כֶּסֶף נֶחְשָׁב בִּימֵי שְׁלֹמֹה לִמְאוּמָה׃
21	For the king's ships went to Tarshish with the servants of Huram; once every three years the ships of Tarshish used to come bringing gold, silver, ivory, apes, and peacocks.		כִּי־אֳנִיֹּות לַמֶּלֶךְ הֹלְכֹות תַּרְשִׁישׁ עִם עַבְדֵי חוּרָם אַחַת לְשָׁלֹושׁ שָׁנִים תָּבֹואנָה אֳנִיֹּות תַּרְשִׁישׁ נֹשְׂאֹות זָהָב וָכֶסֶף שֶׁנְהַבִּים וְקֹופִים וְתוּכִּיִּים׃ ף
22	Thus King Solomon excelled all the kings of the earth in riches and in wisdom.		וַיִּגְדַּל הַמֶּלֶךְ שְׁלֹמֹה מִכֹּל מַלְכֵי הָאָרֶץ לְעֹשֶׁר וְחָכְמָה׃
23	And all the kings of the earth sought the presence of Solomon to hear his wisdom, which God had put into his mind.		וְכֹל מַלְכֵי הָאָרֶץ מְבַקְשִׁים אֶת־פְּנֵי שְׁלֹמֹה לִשְׁמֹעַ אֶת־חָכְמָתֹו אֲשֶׁר־נָתַן הָאֱלֹהִים בְּלִבֹּו׃
24	Every one of them brought his present, articles of silver and of gold, garments, myrrh, spices, horses, and mules, so much year by year.		וְהֵם מְבִיאִים אִישׁ מִנְחָתֹו כְּלֵי כֶסֶף וּכְלֵי זָהָב וּשְׂלָמֹות נֵשֶׁק וּבְשָׂמִים סוּסִים וּפְרָדִים דְּבַר־שָׁנָה בְּשָׁנָה׃ ף
25	And Solomon had four thousand stalls for horses and chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen, whom he stationed in the chariot cities and with the king in Jerusalem.		וַיְהִי לִשְׁלֹמֹה אַרְבַּעַת אֲלָפִים אֻרְיֹות סוּסִים וּמַרְכָּבֹות וּשְׁנֵים־עָשָׂר אֶלֶף פָּרָשִׁים וַיַּנִּיחֵם בְּעָרֵי הָרֶכֶב וְעִם־הַמֶּלֶךְ בִּירוּשָׁלִָם׃
26	And he ruled over all the kings from the Euphrates to the land of the Philistines, and to the border of Egypt.		וַיְהִי מֹושֵׁל בְּכָל־הַמְּלָכִים מִן־הַנָּהָר וְעַד־אֶרֶץ פְּלִשְׁתִּים וְעַד גְּבוּל מִצְרָיִם׃
27	And the king made silver as common in Jerusalem as stone, and cedar as plentiful as the sycamore of the Shephelah.		וַיִּתֵּן הַמֶּלֶךְ אֶת־הַכֶּסֶף בִּירוּשָׁלִַם כָּאֲבָנִים וְאֵת הָאֲרָזִים נָתַן כַּשִּׁקְמִים אֲשֶׁר־בַּשְּׁפֵלָה לָרֹב׃
28	And horses were imported for Solomon from Egypt and from all lands.		וּמֹוצִיאִים סוּסִים מִמִּצְרַיִם לִשְׁלֹמֹה וּמִכָּל־הָאֲרָצֹות׃

The katapi NEW STUDY BIBLE is a very light revision of the RSV. The changes are: (1) In places where 'the LORD', 'O LORD' occurs in the RSV, (it represents the tetragrammaton - YHWH - which is in the hebrew text), I have used the name 'Yahweh'.
(2) I have removed the quotation marks and hyphens that were used in so many names in the RSV as an aid to correct pronunciation. This now brings it in line with all other English versions, and makes any word-search more accurate.
(3) I have changed all (I hope!) of the RSV archaic language sections to modern.
