| 12 1 | These are the men who joined David at Ziklag while he was banned from the presence of Saul son of Kish. They ranked among the warriors valiant in battle. | David's Benjamite soldiers. 1Chr.12.1-7 | וְאֵלֶּה הַבָּאִים אֶל־דָּוִיד לְצִיקְלַג עֹוד עָצוּר מִפְּנֵי שָׁאוּל בֶּן־קִישׁ וְהֵמָּה בַּגִּבֹּורִים עֹזְרֵי הַמִּלְחָמָה׃ |

| 2 | They carried bows and could sling stones or shoot arrows with the left hand or the right; they were Benjamites, kinsmen of Saul. | | נֹשְׁקֵי קֶשֶׁת מַיְמִינִים וּמַשְׂמִאלִים בָּאֲבָנִים וּבַחִצִּים בַּקָּשֶׁת מֵאֲחֵי שָׁאוּל מִבִּנְיָמִן׃ |
