| 9 1 | So all Israel was enrolled by genealogies; and these are written in the Book of the Kings of Israel. And Judah was taken into exile in Babylon because of their unfaithfulness. | Those who returned from captivity. 1Chr.9.1-9 | וְכָל־יִשְׂרָאֵל הִתְיַחְשׂוּ וְהִנָּם כְּתוּבִים עַל־סֵפֶר מַלְכֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וִיהוּדָה הָגְלוּ לְבָבֶל בְּמַעֲלָם׃ ס |

| 2 | Now the first to dwell again in their possessions in their cities were Israel, the priests, the Levites, and the temple servants. | | וְהַיֹּושְׁבִים הָרִאשֹׁנִים אֲשֶׁר בַּאֲחֻזָּתָם בְּעָרֵיהֶם יִשְׂרָאֵל הַכֹּהֲנִים הַלְוִיִּם וְהַנְּתִינִים׃ |

| 3 | And some of the people of Judah, Benjamin, Ephraim, and Manasseh dwelt in Jerusalem: | | וּבִירוּשָׁלִַם יָשְׁבוּ מִן־בְּנֵי יְהוּדָה וּמִן־בְּנֵי בִנְיָמִן וּמִן־בְּנֵי אֶפְרַיִם וּמְנַשֶּׁה׃ |

| 4 | Uthai the son of Ammihud, son of Omri, son of Imri, son of Bani, from the sons of Perez the son of Judah. | | עוּתַי בֶּן־עַמִּיהוּד בֶּן־עָמְרִי בֶּן־אִמְרִי בֶן־כ= בָּנִימִן ק= בָּנִי ק= מִן־בְּנֵי־פֶרֶץ בֶּן־יְהוּדָה׃ |

| 5 | And of the Shilonites: Asaiah the first-born, and his sons. | | וּמִן־הַשִּׁילֹונִי עֲשָׂיָה הַבְּכֹור וּבָנָיו׃ |

| 6 | Of the sons of Zerah: Jeuel and their kinsmen, six hundred and ninety. | | וּמִן־בְּנֵי־זֶרַח יְעוּאֵל וַאֲחֵיהֶם שֵׁשׁ־מֵאֹות וְתִשְׁעִים׃ |

| 7 | Of the Benjaminites: Sallu the son of Meshullam, son of Hodaviah, son of Hassenuah, | | וּמִן־בְּנֵי בִּנְיָמִן סַלּוּא בֶּן־מְשֻׁלָּם בֶּן־הֹודַוְיָה בֶּן־הַסְּנֻאָה׃ |

| 8 | Ibneiah the son of Jeroham, Elah the son of Uzzi, son of Michri, and Meshullam the son of Shephatiah, son of Reuel, son of Ibnijah; | | וְיִבְנְיָה בֶּן־יְרֹחָם וְאֵלָה בֶן־עֻזִּי בֶּן־מִכְרִי וּמְשֻׁלָּם בֶּן־שְׁפַטְיָה בֶּן־רְעוּאֵל בֶּן־יִבְנִיָּה׃ |

| 9 | and their kinsmen according to their generations, nine hundred and fifty-six. All these were heads of fathers' houses according to their fathers' houses. | | וַאֲחֵיהֶם לְתֹלְדֹותָם תְּשַׁע מֵאֹות וַחֲמִשִּׁים וְשִׁשָּׁה כָּל־אֵלֶּה אֲנָשִׁים רָאשֵׁי אָבֹות לְבֵית אֲבֹתֵיהֶם׃ ס |
