| 8 1 | Benjamin was the father of Bela his first-born, Ashbel the second, Ahar'ah the third, | Generations - Benjamin. 1Chr.8.1-12 | וּבִנְיָמִן הֹולִיד אֶת־בֶּלַע בְּכֹרֹו אַשְׁבֵּל הַשֵּׁנִי וְאַחְרַח הַשְּׁלִישִׁי׃ |

| 2 | Nohah the fourth, and Rapha the fifth. | | נֹוחָה הָרְבִיעִי וְרָפָא הַחֲמִישִׁי׃ ס |

| 3 | And Bela had sons: Addar, Gera, Abi'hud, | | וַיִּהְיוּ בָנִים לְבָלַע אַדָּר וְגֵרָא וַאֲבִיהוּד׃ |

| 4 | Abishu'a, Na'aman, Aho'ah, | | וַאֲבִישׁוּעַ וְנַעֲמָן וַאֲחֹוחַ׃ |

| 5 | Gera, Shephu'phan, and Huram. | | וְגֵרָא וּשְׁפוּפָן וְחוּרָם׃ |

| 6 | These are the sons of Ehud (they were heads of fathers' houses of the inhabitants of Geba, and they were carried into exile to Mana'hath): | | וְאֵלֶּה בְּנֵי אֵחוּד אֵלֶּה הֵם רָאשֵׁי אָבֹות לְיֹושְׁבֵי גֶבַע וַיַּגְלוּם אֶל־מָנָחַת׃ |

| 7 | Na'aman, Ahi'jah, and Gera, that is, Heglam, who was the father of Uzza and Ahi'hud. | | וְנַעֲמָן וַאֲחִיָּה וְגֵרָא הוּא הֶגְלָם וְהֹולִיד אֶת־עֻזָּא וְאֶת־אֲחִיחֻד׃ |

| 8 | And Shahara'im had sons in the country of Moab after he had sent away Hushim and Ba'ara his wives. | | וְשַׁחֲרַיִם הֹולִיד בִּשְׂדֵה מֹואָב מִן־שִׁלְחֹו אֹתָם חוּשִׁים וְאֶת־בַּעֲרָא נָשָׁיו׃ |

| 9 | He had sons by Hodesh his wife: Jobab, Zib'i-a, Mesha, Malcam, | | וַיֹּולֶד מִן־חֹדֶשׁ אִשְׁתֹּו אֶת־יֹובָב וְאֶת־צִבְיָא וְאֶת־מֵישָׁא וְאֶת־מַלְכָּם׃ |

| 10 | Je'uz, Sachi'a, and Mirmah. These were his sons, heads of fathers' houses. | | וְאֶת־יְעוּץ וְאֶת־שָׂכְיָה וְאֶת־מִרְמָה אֵלֶּה בָנָיו רָאשֵׁי אָבֹות׃ |

| 11 | He also had sons by Hushim: Abi'tub and Elpa'al. | | וּמֵחֻשִׁים הֹולִיד אֶת־אֲבִיטוּב וְאֶת־אֶלְפָּעַל׃ |

| 12 | The sons of Elpa'al: Eber, Misham, and Shemed, who built Ono and Lod with its towns, | | וּבְנֵי אֶלְפַּעַל עֵבֶר וּמִשְׁעָם וָשָׁמֶד הוּא בָּנָה אֶת־אֹונֹו וְאֶת־לֹד וּבְנֹתֶיהָ׃ |
