7The sons of Bela: Ezbon, Uzzi, Uzziel, Jerimoth, and Iri, five, heads of fathers' houses, mighty warriors; and their enrollment by genealogies was twenty-two thousand and thirty-four. וּבְנֵי בֶלַע אֶצְבֹּון וְעֻזִּי וְעֻזִּיאֵל וִירִימֹות וְעִירִי חֲמִשָּׁה רָאשֵׁי בֵּית אָבֹות גִּבֹּורֵי חֲיָלִים וְהִתְיַחְשָׂם עֶשְׂרִים וּשְׁנַיִם אֶלֶף וּשְׁלֹשִׁים וְאַרְבָּעָה׃ ס
8The sons of Becher: Zemirah, Joash, Eliezer, Elioenai, Omri, Jeremoth, Abijah, Anathoth, and Alemeth. All these were the sons of Becher; וּבְנֵי בֶכֶר זְמִירָה וְיֹועָשׁ וֶאֱלִיעֶזֶר וְאֶלְיֹועֵינַי וְעָמְרִי וִירֵמֹות וַאֲבִיָּה וַעֲנָתֹות וְעָלָמֶת כָּל־אֵלֶּה בְּנֵי־בָכֶר׃
9and their enrollment by genealogies, according to their generations, as heads of their fathers' houses, mighty warriors, was twenty thousand two hundred. וְהִתְיַחְשָׂם לְתֹלְדֹותָם רָאשֵׁי בֵּית אֲבֹותָם גִּבֹּורֵי חָיִל עֶשְׂרִים אֶלֶף וּמָאתָיִם׃ ס
10The sons of Jediael: Bilhan. And the sons of Bilhan: Jeush, Benjamin, Ehud, Chenaanah, Zethan, Tarshish, and Ahishahar. וּבְנֵי יְדִיעֲאֵל בִּלְהָן וּבְנֵי בִלְהָן כ= יְעִישׁ ק= יְעוּשׁ וּבִנְיָמִן וְאֵהוּד וּכְנַעֲנָה וְזֵיתָן וְתַרְשִׁישׁ וַאֲחִישָׁחַר׃
11All these were the sons of Jediael according to the heads of their fathers' houses, mighty warriors, seventeen thousand and two hundred, ready for service in war. כָּל־אֵלֶּה בְּנֵי יְדִיעֲאֵל לְרָאשֵׁי הָאָבֹות גִּבֹּורֵי חֲיָלִים שִׁבְעָה־עָשָׂר אֶלֶף וּמָאתַיִם יֹצְאֵי צָבָא לַמִּלְחָמָה׃
12And Shuppim and Huppim were the sons of Ir, Hushim the sons of Aher. וְשֻׁפִּם וְחֻפִּם בְּנֵי עִיר חֻשִׁם בְּנֵי אַחֵר׃

The katapi NEW STUDY BIBLE is a very light revision of the RSV. The changes are: (1) In places where 'the LORD', 'O LORD' occurs in the RSV, (it represents the tetragrammaton - YHWH - which is in the hebrew text), I have used the name 'Yahweh'.
(2) I have removed the quotation marks and hyphens that were used in so many names in the RSV as an aid to correct pronunciation. This now brings it in line with all other English versions, and makes any word-search more accurate.
(3) I have changed all (I hope!) of the RSV archaic language sections to modern.

The katapi New Study Bible reference section displays links to parallel passages, and to direct quotations by New Testament authors to Old Testament passages. Quotations of OT passages by NT authors can in most cases be viewed within their context of the OT passage as a whole, with the quoted text displayed, against a subdued background.
