| 2 | The sons of Tola: Uzzi, Rephaiah, Jeriel, Jahmai, Ibsam, and Shemuel, heads of their fathers' houses, namely of Tola, mighty warriors of their generations, their number in the days of David being twenty-two thousand six hundred. | | וּבְנֵי תֹולָע עֻזִּי וּרְפָיָה וִירִיאֵל וְיַחְמַי וְיִבְשָׂם וּשְׁמוּאֵל רָאשִׁים לְבֵית־אֲבֹותָם לְתֹולָע גִּבֹּורֵי חַיִל לְתֹלְדֹותָם מִסְפָּרָם בִּימֵי דָוִיד עֶשְׂרִים־וּשְׁנַיִם אֶלֶף וְשֵׁשׁ מֵאֹות׃ ס |

| 3 | The sons of Uzzi: Izrahiah. And the sons of Izrahiah: Michael, Obadiah, Joel, and Isshiah, five, all of them chief men; | | וּבְנֵי עֻזִּי יִזְרַחְיָה וּבְנֵי יִזְרַחְיָה מִיכָאֵל וְעֹבַדְיָה וְיֹואֵל יִשִּׁיָּה חֲמִשָּׁה רָאשִׁים כֻּלָּם׃ |

| 4 | and along with them, by their generations, according to their fathers' houses, were units of the army for war, thirty-six thousand, for they had many wives and sons. | | וַעֲלֵיהֶם לְתֹלְדֹותָם לְבֵית אֲבֹותָם גְּדוּדֵי צְבָא מִלְחָמָה שְׁלֹשִׁים וְשִׁשָּׁה אָלֶף כִּי־הִרְבּוּ נָשִׁים וּבָנִים׃ |
