11	The sons of Gad dwelt over against them in the land of Bashan as far as Salecah:	Generations - Gad. 1Chr.5.11-17	וּבְנֵי־גָד לְנֶגְדָּם יָשְׁבוּ בְּאֶרֶץ הַבָּשָׁן עַד־סַלְכָה׃
12	Joel the chief, Shapham the second, Janai, and Shaphat in Bashan.		יֹואֵל הָרֹאשׁ וְשָׁפָם הַמִּשְׁנֶה וְיַעְנַי וְשָׁפָט בַּבָּשָׁן׃
13	And their kinsmen according to their fathers' houses: Michael, Meshullam, Sheba, Jorai, Jacan, Zia, and Eber, seven.		וַאֲחֵיהֶם לְבֵית אֲבֹותֵיהֶם מִיכָאֵל וּמְשֻׁלָּם וְשֶׁבַע וְיֹורַי וְיַעְכָּן וְזִיעַ וָעֵבֶר שִׁבְעָה׃ ס
14	These were the sons of Abihail the son of Huri, son of Jaroah, son of Gilead, son of Michael, son of Jeshishai, son of Jahdo, son of Buz;		אֵלֶּה בְּנֵי אֲבִיחַיִל בֶּן־חוּרִי בֶּן־יָרֹוחַ בֶּן־גִּלְעָד בֶּן־מִיכָאֵל בֶּן־יְשִׁישַׁי בֶּן־יַחְדֹּו בֶּן־בּוּז׃
15	Ahi the son of Abdiel, son of Guni, was chief in their fathers' houses;		אֲחִי בֶּן־עַבְדִּיאֵל בֶּן־גּוּנִי רֹאשׁ לְבֵית אֲבֹותָם׃
16	and they dwelt in Gilead, in Bashan and in its towns, and in all the pasture lands of Sharon to their limits.		וַיֵּשְׁבוּ בַּגִּלְעָד בַּבָּשָׁן וּבִבְנֹתֶיהָ וּבְכָל־מִגְרְשֵׁי שָׁרֹון עַל־תֹוצְאֹותָם׃
17	All of these were enrolled by genealogies in the days of Jotham king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam king of Israel.		כֻּלָּם הִתְיַחְשׂוּ בִּימֵי יֹותָם מֶלֶךְ־יְהוּדָה וּבִימֵי יָרָבְעָם מֶלֶךְ־יִשְׂרָאֵל׃ ף

The katapi NEW STUDY BIBLE is a very light revision of the RSV. The changes are: (1) In places where 'the LORD', 'O LORD' occurs in the RSV, (it represents the tetragrammaton - YHWH - which is in the hebrew text), I have used the name 'Yahweh'.
(2) I have removed the quotation marks and hyphens that were used in so many names in the RSV as an aid to correct pronunciation. This now brings it in line with all other English versions, and makes any word-search more accurate.
(3) I have changed all (I hope!) of the RSV archaic language sections to modern.
The katapi New Study Bible reference section displays links to parallel passages, and to direct quotations by New Testament authors to Old Testament passages. Quotations of OT passages by NT authors can in most cases be viewed within their context of the OT passage as a whole, with the quoted text displayed, against a subdued background.
