| 10 | At the end of twenty years, in which Solomon had built the two houses, the house of the LORD and the king's house, | Solomon's agreement with King Hyram. 1Kgs.9.10-14 | 2Chr.8.1-2 | וַיְהִי מִקְצֵה עֶשְׂרִים שָׁנָה אֲשֶׁר־בָּנָה שְׁלֹמֹה אֶת־שְׁנֵי הַבָּתִּים אֶת־בֵּית יְהוָה וְאֶת־בֵּית הַמֶּלֶךְ׃ |

| 11 | and Hiram king of Tyre had supplied Solomon with cedar and cypress timber and gold, as much as he desired, King Solomon gave to Hiram twenty cities in the land of Galilee. | | חִירָם מֶלֶךְ־צֹר נִשָּׂא אֶת־שְׁלֹמֹה בַּעֲצֵי אֲרָזִים וּבַעֲצֵי בְרֹושִׁים וּבַזָּהָב לְכָל־חֶפְצֹו אָז יִתֵּן הַמֶּלֶךְ שְׁלֹמֹה לְחִירָם עֶשְׂרִים עִיר בְּאֶרֶץ הַגָּלִיל׃ |

| 12 | But when Hiram came from Tyre to see the cities which Solomon had given him, they did not please him. | | וַיֵּצֵא חִירָם מִצֹּר לִרְאֹות אֶת־הֶעָרִים אֲשֶׁר נָתַן־לֹו שְׁלֹמֹה וְלֹא יָשְׁרוּ בְּעֵינָיו׃ |

| 13 | Therefore he said, "What kind of cities are these which you have given me, my brother?" So they are called the land of Cabul to this day. | | וַיֹּאמֶר מָה הֶעָרִים הָאֵלֶּה אֲשֶׁר־נָתַתָּה לִּי אָחִי וַיִּקְרָא לָהֶם אֶרֶץ כָּבוּל עַד הַיֹּום הַזֶּה׃ ף |
