22	While Israel was living in that district, Reuben went and lay with his father's concubine Bilhah, and Israel came to hear of it. The sons of Jacob were twelve.	JACOB's sons. Gn.35.22-26 \| 1Chr.2.1-2	וַיְהִי בִּשְׁכֹּן יִשְׂרָאֵל בָּאָרֶץ הַהִוא וַיֵּלֶךְ רְאוּבֵן וַיִּשְׁכַּב אֶת־בִּלְהָה פִּילֶגֶשׁ אָבִיו וַיִּשְׁמַע יִשְׂרָאֵל ף וַיִּהְיוּ בְנֵי־יַעֲקֹב שְׁנֵים עָשָׂר׃
23	The sons of Leah: Jacob's first-born Reuben, then Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar and Zebulun.		בְּנֵי לֵאָה בְּכֹור יַעֲקֹב רְאוּבֵן וְשִׁמְעֹון וְלֵוִי וִיהוּדָה וְיִשָּׂשכָר וּזְבוּלֻן׃
24	The sons of Rachel: Joseph and Benjamin.		בְּנֵי רָחֵל יֹוסֵף וּבִנְיָמִן׃
25	The sons of Rachel's slave-girl Bilhah: Dan and Naphtali.		וּבְנֵי בִלְהָה שִׁפְחַת רָחֵל דָּן וְנַפְתָּלִי׃
26	The sons of Leah's slave-girl Zilpah: Gad and Asher. These were Jacob's sons, born to him in Paddan-aram.		וּבְנֵי זִלְפָּה שִׁפְחַת לֵאָה גָּד וְאָשֵׁר אֵלֶּה בְּנֵי יַעֲקֹב אֲשֶׁר יֻלַּד־לֹו בְּפַדַּן אֲרָם׃
