7 | Abraham had lived for a hundred and seventy-five years | The death of Abraham. Gn.25.7-11 | וְאֵלֶּה יְמֵי שְׁנֵי־חַיֵּי אַבְרָהָם אֲשֶׁר־חָי מְאַת שָׁנָה וְשִׁבְעִים שָׁנָה וְחָמֵשׁ שָׁנִים׃ |

8 | when he breathed his last. He died at a good old age, after a very long life, and was gathered to his father's kin. | | וַיִּגְוַע וַיָּמָת אַבְרָהָם בְּשֵׂיבָה טֹובָה זָקֵן וְשָׂבֵעַ וַיֵּאָסֶף אֶל־עַמָּיו׃ |

9 | His sons, Isaac and Ishmael, buried him in the cave at Machpelah, on the land of Ephron son of Zohar the Hittite, east of Mamre, | | וַיִּקְבְּרוּ אֹתֹו יִצְחָק וְיִשְׁמָעֵאל בָּנָיו אֶל־מְעָרַת הַמַּכְפֵּלָה אֶל־שְׂדֵה עֶפְרֹן בֶּן־צֹחַר הַחִתִּי אֲשֶׁר עַל־פְּנֵי מַמְרֵא׃ |

10 | the plot which Abraham had bought from the Hittites. There Abraham was buried with his wife Sarah. | | הַשָּׂדֶה אֲשֶׁר־קָנָה אַבְרָהָם מֵאֵת בְּנֵי־חֵת שָׁמָּה קֻבַּר אַבְרָהָם וְשָׂרָה אִשְׁתֹּו׃ |
