| 2 | She bore him Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak and Shuah. | | וַתֵּלֶד לֹו אֶת־זִמְרָן וְאֶת־יָקְשָׁן וְאֶת־מְדָן וְאֶת־מִדְיָן וְאֶת־יִשְׁבָּק וְאֶת־שׁוּחַ׃ |

| 3 | Jokshan became the father of Sheba and Dedan. The sons of Dedan were Asshurim, Letushim and Leummim, | | וְיָקְשָׁן יָלַד אֶת־שְׁבָא וְאֶת־דְּדָן וּבְנֵי דְדָן הָיוּ אַשּׁוּרִם וּלְטוּשִׁים וּלְאֻמִּים׃ |

| 4 | and the sons of Midian were Ephah, Epher, Enoch, Abida and Eldaah. All these were descendants of Keturah. | | וּבְנֵי מִדְיָן עֵיפָה וָעֵפֶר וַחֲנֹךְ וַאֲבִידָע וְאֶלְדָּעָה כָּל־אֵלֶּה בְּנֵי קְטוּרָה׃ |

| 5 | Abraham had given all that he had to Isaac, | | וַיִּתֵּן אַבְרָהָם אֶת־כָּל־אֲשֶׁר־לֹו לְיִצְחָק׃ |

| 6 | and he had already in his lifetime given presents to the sons of his concubines, and had sent them away eastwards, to a land of the east, out of his son Isaac's way. | | וְלִבְנֵי הַפִּילַגְשִׁים אֲשֶׁר לְאַבְרָהָם נָתַן אַבְרָהָם מַתָּנֹת וַיְשַׁלְּחֵם מֵעַל יִצְחָק בְּנֹו בְּעֹודֶנּוּ חַי קֵדְמָה אֶל־אֶרֶץ קֶדֶם׃ |
