27This is the table of the descendants of Terah. Terah was the father of Abram, Nahor and Haran. Haran was the father of Lot.Generation - Terah. Gn.11.27-32וְאֵלֶּה תֹּולְדֹת תֶּרַח תֶּרַח הֹולִיד אֶת־אַבְרָם אֶת־נָחֹור וְאֶת־הָרָן וְהָרָן הֹולִיד אֶת־לֹוט׃
28Haran died in the presence of his father in the land of his birth, Ur of the Chaldees. וַיָּמָת הָרָן עַל־פְּנֵי תֶּרַח אָבִיו בְּאֶרֶץ מֹולַדְתֹּו בְּאוּר כַּשְׂדִּים׃
29Abram and Nahor married wives; Abram's wife was called Sarai, and Nahor's Milcah. She was Haran's daughter; and he was also the father of Milcah and of Iscah. וַיִּקַּח אַבְרָם וְנָחֹור לָהֶם נָשִׁים שֵׁם אֵשֶׁת־אַבְרָם שָׂרָי וְשֵׁם אֵשֶׁת־נָחֹור מִלְכָּה בַּת־הָרָן אֲבִי־מִלְכָּה וַאֲבִי יִסְכָּה׃
30Sarai was barren; she had no child. וַתְּהִי שָׂרַי עֲקָרָה אֵין לָהּ וָלָד׃
31Terah took his son Abram, his grandson Lot the son of Haran, and his daughter-in-law Sarai Abram's wife, and they set out from Ur of the Chaldees for the land of Canaan. But when they reached Harran, they settled there. וַיִּקַּח תֶּרַח אֶת־אַבְרָם בְּנֹו וְאֶת־לֹוט בֶּן־הָרָן בֶּן־בְּנֹו וְאֵת שָׂרַי כַּלָּתֹו אֵשֶׁת אַבְרָם בְּנֹו וַיֵּצְאוּ אִתָּם מֵאוּר כַּשְׂדִּים לָלֶכֶת אַרְצָה כְּנַעַן וַיָּבֹאוּ עַד־חָרָן וַיֵּשְׁבוּ שָׁם׃
32Terah was two hundred and five years old when he died in Harran. וַיִּהְיוּ יְמֵי־תֶרַח חָמֵשׁ שָׁנִים וּמָאתַיִם שָׁנָה וַיָּמָת תֶּרַח בְּחָרָן׃ ס
