25Adam lay with his wife again. She bore a son, and named him Seth That is Granted, 'for', she said, 'God has granted me another son in place of Abel, because Cain killed him.'Seth and Enosh. Gn.4.25-26וַיֵּדַע אָדָם עֹוד אֶת־אִשְׁתֹּו וַתֵּלֶד בֵּן וַתִּקְרָא אֶת־שְׁמֹו שֵׁת כִּי שָׁת־לִי אֱלֹהִים זֶרַע אַחֵר תַּחַת הֶבֶל כִּי הֲרָגֹו קָיִן׃
26Seth too had a son, whom he named Enosh. At that time men began to invoke the LORD This represents the Hebrew consonants YHWH, probably pronounced Yahweh, but traditionally read as Jehovah by name. וּלְשֵׁת גַּם־הוּא יֻלַּד־בֵּן וַיִּקְרָא אֶת־שְׁמֹו אֱנֹושׁ אָז הוּחַל לִקְרֹא בְּשֵׁם יְהוָה׃ ף
