| Morning Prayer. Psalm 3 | מִזְמֹור לְדָוִד בְּבָרְחֹו מִפְּנֵי אַבְשָׁלֹום בְּנֹו׃ | |||
| 1 | O Yahweh, how many are my foes! Many are rising against me; | יְהוָה מָה־רַבּוּ צָרָי רַבִּים קָמִים עָלָי׃ | ||
| 2 | many are saying of me, there is no help for him in God. | רַבִּים אֹמְרִים לְנַפְשִׁי אֵין יְשׁוּעָתָה לֹּו בֵאלֹהִים סֶלָה׃ | ||
| 3 | But you, O Yahweh, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head. | וְאַתָּה יְהוָה מָגֵן בַּעֲדִי כְּבֹודִי וּמֵרִים רֹאשִׁי׃ | ||
| 4 | I cry aloud to Yahweh, and he answers me from his holy hill. | קֹולִי אֶל־יְהוָה אֶקְרָא וַיַּעֲנֵנִי מֵהַר קָדְשֹׁו סֶלָה׃ | ||
| 5 | I lie down and sleep; I wake again, for Yahweh sustains me. | אֲנִי שָׁכַבְתִּי וָאִישָׁנָה הֱקִיצֹותִי כִּי יְהוָה יִסְמְכֵנִי׃ | ||
| 6 | I am not afraid of ten thousands of people who have set themselves against me round about. | לֹא־אִירָא מֵרִבְבֹות עָם אֲשֶׁר סָבִיב שָׁתוּ עָלָי׃ | ||
| 7 | Arise, O Yahweh! Deliver me, O my God! For you smite all my enemies on the cheek, you break the teeth of the wicked. | קוּמָה יְהוָה הֹושִׁיעֵנִי אֱלֹהַי כִּי־הִכִּיתָ אֶת־כָּל־אֹיְבַי לֶחִי שִׁנֵּי רְשָׁעִים שִׁבַּרְתָּ׃ | ||
| 8 | Deliverance belongs to Yahweh; your blessing be upon your people! | לַיהוָה הַיְשׁוּעָה עַל־עַמְּךָ בִרְכָתֶךָ סֶּלָה׃ | ||
