| 1 | To you, O Yahweh, I call; my rock, be not deaf to me, lest, if you are silent to me, I become like those who go down to the Pit. | Petition & Thankgiving. Psalm 28(v27) | אֵלֶיךָ יְהוָה אֶקְרָא צוּרִי אַל־תֶּחֱרַשׁ מִמֶּנִּי פֶּן־תֶּחֱשֶׁה מִמֶּנִּי וְנִמְשַׁלְתִּי עִם־יֹורְדֵי בֹור׃ | |
| 2 | Hear the voice of my supplication, as I cry to you for help, as I lift up my hands toward your most holy sanctuary. | שְׁמַע קֹול תַּחֲנוּנַי בְּשַׁוְּעִי אֵלֶיךָ בְּנָשְׂאִי יָדַי אֶל־דְּבִיר קָדְשֶׁךָ׃ | ||
| 3 | Take me not off with the wicked, with those who are workers of evil, who speak peace with their neighbours, while mischief is in their hearts. | אַל־תִּמְשְׁכֵנִי עִם־רְשָׁעִים וְעִם־פֹּעֲלֵי אָוֶן דֹּבְרֵי שָׁלֹום עִם־רֵעֵיהֶם וְרָעָה בִּלְבָבָם׃ | ||
| 4 | Requite them according to their work, and according to the evil of their deeds; requite them according to the work of their hands; render them their due reward. | תֶּן־לָהֶם כְּפָעֳלָם וּכְרֹעַ מַעַלְלֵיהֶם כְּמַעֲשֵׂה יְדֵיהֶם תֵּן לָהֶם הָשֵׁב גְּמוּלָם לָהֶם׃ | ||
| 5 | Because they do not regard the works of Yahweh, or the work of his hands, he will break them down and build them up no more. | כִּי לֹא יָבִינוּ אֶל־פְּעֻלֹּת יְהוָה וְאֶל־מַעֲשֵׂה יָדָיו יֶהֶרְסֵם וְלֹא יִבְנֵם׃ | ||
| 6 | Blessed be Yahweh! for he has heard the voice of my supplications. | בָּרוּךְ יְהוָה כִּי־שָׁמַע קֹול תַּחֲנוּנָי׃ | ||
| 7 | Yahweh is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts; so I am helped, and my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him. | יְהוָה עֻזִּי וּמָגִנִּי בֹּו בָטַח לִבִּי וְנֶעֱזָרְתִּי וַיַּעֲלֹז לִבִּי וּמִשִּׁירִי אֲהֹודֶנּוּ׃ | ||
| 8 | Yahweh is the strength of his people, he is the saving refuge of his anointed. | יְהוָה עֹז־לָמֹו וּמָעֹוז יְשׁוּעֹות מְשִׁיחֹו הוּא׃ | ||
| 9 | O save your people, and bless your heritage; be their shepherd, and carry them for ever. | הֹושִׁיעָה אֶת־עַמֶּךָ וּבָרֵךְ אֶת־נַחֲלָתֶךָ וּרְעֵם וְנַשְּׂאֵם עַד־הָעֹולָם׃ | ||
