| 1 | To you, O Yahweh, I lift up my soul. | A Prayer for Guidance & Protection. Psalm 25(v24) | אֵלֶיךָ יְהוָה נַפְשִׁי אֶשָּׂא׃ | |
| 2 | O my God, in you I trust, let me not be put to shame; let not my enemies exult over me. | אֱלֹהַי בְּךָ בָטַחְתִּי אַל־אֵבֹושָׁה אַל־יַעַלְצוּ אֹיְבַי לִי׃ | ||
| 3 | Yea, let none that wait for you be put to shame; let them be ashamed who are wantonly treacherous. | גַּם כָּל־קֹוֶיכָ לֹא יֵבֹשׁוּ יֵבֹשׁוּ הַבֹּוגְדִים רֵיקָם׃ | ||
| 4 | Make me to know your ways, O Yahweh; teach me your paths. | דְּרָכֶיךָ יְהוָה הֹודִיעֵנִי אֹרְחֹותֶיכָ לַמְּדֵנִי׃ | ||
| 5 | Lead me in your truth, and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long. | הַדְרִיכֵנִי בַאֲמִתֶּךָ וְלַמְּדֵנִי כִּי־אַתָּה אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׁעִי אֹותְךָ קִוִּיתִי כָּל־הַיֹּום׃ | ||
| 6 | Be mindful of your mercy, O Yahweh, and of your steadfast love, for they have been from of old. | זְכֹר־רַחֲמֶיךָ יְהוָה וַחֲסָדֶיךָ כִּי מֵעֹולָם הֵמָּה׃ | ||
| 7 | Remember not the sins of my youth, or my transgressions; according to your steadfast love remember me, for your goodness' sake, O Yahweh! | חַטֹּאות נְעוּרַי וּפְשָׁעַי אַל־תִּזְכֹּר כְּחַסְדְּךָ זְכָר־לִי־אַתָּה לְמַעַן טוּבְךָ יְהוָה׃ | ||
| 8 | Good and upright is Yahweh; therefore he instructs sinners in the way. | טֹוב־וְיָשָׁר יְהוָה עַל־כֵּן יֹורֶה חַטָּאִים בַּדָּרֶךְ׃ | ||
| 9 | He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble his way. | יַדְרֵךְ עֲנָוִים בַּמִּשְׁפָּט וִילַמֵּד עֲנָוִים דַּרְכֹּו׃ | ||
| 10 | All the paths of Yahweh are steadfast love and faithfulness, for those who keep his covenant and his testimonies. | כָּל־אָרְחֹות יְהוָה חֶסֶד וֶאֱמֶת לְנֹצְרֵי בְרִיתֹו וְעֵדֹתָיו׃ | ||
| 11 | For your name's sake, O Yahweh, pardon my guilt, for it is great. | לְמַעַן־שִׁמְךָ יְהוָה וְסָלַחְתָּ לַעֲוֹנִי כִּי רַב־הוּא׃ | ||
| 12 | Who is the man that fears Yahweh? Him will he instruct in the way that he should choose. | מִי־זֶה הָאִישׁ יְרֵא יְהוָה יֹורֶנּוּ בְּדֶרֶךְ יִבְחָר׃ | ||
| 13 | He himself shall abide in prosperity, and his children shall possess the land. | נַפְשֹׁו בְּטֹוב תָּלִין וְזַרְעֹו יִירַשׁ אָרֶץ׃ | ||
| 14 | The friendship of Yahweh is for those who fear him, and he makes known to them his covenant. | סֹוד יְהוָה לִירֵאָיו וּבְרִיתֹו לְהֹודִיעָם׃ | ||
| 15 | My eyes are ever toward Yahweh, for he will pluck my feet out of the net. | עֵינַי תָּמִיד אֶל־יְהוָה כִּי הוּא־יֹוצִיא מֵרֶשֶׁת רַגְלָי׃ | ||
| 16 | Turn to me, and be gracious to me; for I am lonely and afflicted. | פְּנֵה־אֵלַי וְחָנֵּנִי כִּי־יָחִיד וְעָנִי אָנִי׃ | ||
| 17 | Relieve the troubles of my heart, and bring me out of my distresses. | צָרֹות לְבָבִי הִרְחִיבוּ מִמְּצוּקֹותַי הֹוצִיאֵנִי׃ | ||
| 18 | Consider my affliction and my trouble, and forgive all my sins. | רְאֵה עָנְיִי וַעֲמָלִי וְשָׂא לְכָל־חַטֹּאותָי׃ | ||
| 19 | Consider how many are my foes, and with what violent hatred they hate me. | רְאֵה־אֹויְבַי כִּי־רָבּוּ וְשִׂנְאַת חָמָס שְׂנֵאוּנִי׃ | ||
| 20 | Oh guard my life, and deliver me; let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge in you. | שָׁמְרָה נַפְשִׁי וְהַצִּילֵנִי אַל־אֵבֹושׁ כִּי־חָסִיתִי בָךְ׃ | ||
| 21 | May integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for you. | תֹּם־וָיֹשֶׁר יִצְּרוּנִי כִּי קִוִּיתִיךָ׃ | ||
| 22 | Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles. | פְּדֵה אֱלֹהִים אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵל מִכֹּל צָרֹותָיו׃ | ||
