| 1 | Preserve me, O God, for in you I take refuge. | A Prayer of Confidence. Psalm 16(v15) | שָׁמְרֵנִי אֵל כִּי־חָסִיתִי בָךְ׃ | |
| 2 | I say to Yahweh, "You are my Yahweh; I have no good apart from you." | אָמַרְתְּ לַיהוָה אֲדֹנָי אָתָּה טֹובָתִי בַּל־עָלֶיךָ׃ | ||
| 3 | As for the saints in the land, they are the noble, in whom is all my delight. | לִקְדֹושִׁים אֲשֶׁר־בָּאָרֶץ הֵמָּה וְאַדִּירֵי כָּל־חֶפְצִי־בָם׃ | ||
| 4 | Those who choose another god multiply their sorrows; their libations of blood I will not pour out or take their names upon my lips. | יִרְבּוּ עַצְּבֹותָם אַחֵר מָהָרוּ בַּל־אַסִּיךְ נִסְכֵּיהֶם מִדָּם וּבַל־אֶשָּׂא אֶת־שְׁמֹותָם עַל־שְׂפָתָי׃ | ||
| 5 | Yahweh is my chosen portion and my cup; you hold my lot. | יְהוָה מְנָת־חֶלְקִי וְכֹוסִי אַתָּה תֹּומִיךְ גֹּורָלִי׃ | ||
| 6 | The lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage. | חֲבָלִים נָפְלוּ־לִי בַּנְּעִמִים אַף־נַחֲלָת שָׁפְרָה עָלָי׃ | ||
| 7 | I bless Yahweh who gives me counsel; in the night also my heart instructs me. | אֲבָרֵךְ אֶת־יְהוָה אֲשֶׁר יְעָצָנִי אַף־לֵילֹות יִסְּרוּנִי כִלְיֹותָי׃ | ||
| 8 | I keep Yahweh always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. | שִׁוִּיתִי יְהוָה לְנֶגְדִּי תָמִיד כִּי מִימִינִי בַּל־אֶמֹּוט׃ | ||
| 9 | Therefore my heart is glad, and my soul rejoices; my body also dwells secure. | לָכֵן שָׂמַח לִבִּי וַיָּגֶל כְּבֹודִי אַף־בְּשָׂרִי יִשְׁכֹּן לָבֶטַח׃ | ||
| 10 | For you not give me up to Sheol, or let your godly one see the Pit. | כִּי לֹא־תַעֲזֹב נַפְשִׁי לִשְׁאֹול לֹא־תִתֵּן חֲסִידְךָ לִרְאֹות שָׁחַת׃ | ||
| 11 | You show me the path of life; in your presence there is fulness of joy, in your right hand are pleasures for evermore. | תֹּודִיעֵנִי אֹרַח חַיִּים שֹׂבַע שְׂמָחֹות אֶת־פָּנֶיךָ נְעִמֹות בִּימִינְךָ נֶצַח׃ | ||
